I have had the same problem with mine, caught it happening this morning...

I think I have found what is causing it, but even after taking it apart I don't have a perfect fix, but (fingers crossed) it has stopped leaking for now.

The part labeled 'bugger terminal post' is the part to blame. Sometimes it comes up a little bit, either away from the insulator/post holder or both parts away from the atomizer base.
So, to stop it leaking, you just need to make sure that you press down on the 'bugger terminal post' a little bit to 'pop' it into place properly. Obviously don't push too hard, it does not need much force and you don't want to snap the post.

The problem I think is caused by the pin screw being slightly too short, so it does not screw enough into the 'pin screw hole' to hold it firmly in place against the base.

If anyone else has a more permanent fix for this issue then I am all ears (eyes)...

If you think the screw is too short to hold the post down, maybe get a longer screw. I have no clue off the top of my head what size it is.
I haven't had any leaking on mine.
