So I managed to build my own Magnetic Stir Plate. I started to use it with a e-liquid made 3-4 days ago(about 10ml peach flavor in 50ml base(vg 70% pg 30%,3mg nicotine) and let the magnet spin for about 4 hours. No heat was used. Yeah I know is better heated but that's my first experiment and I wanted to see how it works without heat.

Anyway, after 4 hours the liquid didn't got any color. Actually is kind of whitish/troubled.
Is this something normal? Here is a short video with what I'm trying to explain above.

PS: I used a 8*25 stir bar bought from ebay.

Thanks god. Because I was thinking that the whitish is present because that damn white stir magnet started to disintegrate into my e-liquid haha. :)
Also, I mixed the liquid with the glass covered. I heard that mixing without a top cover the oxygen can actually damage the liquid. Is that true?
Also, what do you think I should do after 4 hours. Remove the cap and let it breath for couple of hours? Or just place it in a bottle with the cap on?
Thanks

I always mix mine open,so not sure if there would be any difference there or not,but after it's done mixing i pour straight into the bottle. As for damaging the liquid, not that i know of,oxygen will just cause it to oxidize a little bit which will make it darken up a little, but i have never noticed any bad effect from it.

As long as there is no alcohol smell to the mix then you don't need to leave the cap off. I mix mine for 2 hours with no nic then let sit overnight to dissipate all the bubbles then add the nic and remix at a slower speed for another half to a hour trying not to add any extra air. I use to let it steep before adding nic but finding out from Dannyv45 posts, the nic is important in the steeping process so I have changed my mixing method. The only mix I don't add the nic is my tobacco absolutes so I add the nic when I create my blends.
I have forgotten to turn my mixer off and over time of 8-12 hours you can mix all the air out of the mix but I don't advise letting the juice mix for that long but the juice did turn out good.

I mix 500ml in 2 X 250ml flasks, to a strength of 20mg/ml nicotine, 50%pg, 50%vg.
I let each flask run slowly for approx 4 hours at room temp.
I have very good results.
As I don't mix 250ml of a single flavor, I add concentrated flavor to smaller bottles either 30ml or 50ml.
Further diluting the nicotine content to between 6 and 10mg/ml, with the flavor and vg or pg.
I then put the smaller bottles in a dark cupboard to steep, using them as I need it.
