I have a Magneto V2 and I use it constantly. It might be considered an oldie, but it's a goodie. Very easy maintenance and easy to use. I love the mag switch. They are priced well and well worth a buy. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine.

yea its a good ss mod. not sure why people are still ordering a magneto in july of 2014 though. was it because of the price? you could get a pegasus or penny or another copper clone for like 30 or 40 bucks shipped

I recommend you watch PBusardos review of the magneto on youtube or tasteyourjuice.com.

The contact on the switch can come off and start firing the mod. Just check it tighten if necessary on occasion and all's right with the world. Mine came loose once after two weeks but not far enough to be a problem, I just tightened it with my finger and it hasn't happened since.

The contact in the tube itself is in a threaded piece of Delrin and the entire assembly can be unscrewed for cleaning if desired but make sure you screw it all the way in when your done.

I can turn that right back at ya... why would anyone want a Pegasus or Penny or any other copper clone. Copper is too soft, tarnishes too easily, dings or misshapes on the first drop, requires constant maintenance, and for many people, causes your hand to turn green. And don't respond with some bunk about conductivity. Any loss will be at your connections, not in the tube, regardless of material.

Thx, but since I'm new to mods , I preferred getting something that costs no more than 50$ and reviewed well , after I get to this whole mod scene I might want an expensive 1 and I bought this guy for a very low price 35.63$

I've seen reviews on the v2 and the v1 with the spider logo , I got the v3 so hopefully they haven't ruined it.

anyway I got up early today and brought in my packages (bio wicks from PSV and magneto from FT) , I like the look of it (not as big as i thought it is) and can't wait to fire this baby up

I like my magneto.....but find find it a tad too slim for my liking. I mean it just doesn't feel as comfortable in the hand as say the k100. But it sure beats the k100 in the looks department.

That is what I wanted for my first mech but they didn't have it. It don't matter what mod you get man, by the time you get home there's already the next "Great Thing" out, lol.

I LOVE my copper mods !! However I will admit I feel a little funny whenever I'm out and look down and see my hand is green, but they HIT LIKE A TRUCK !!

i learned about mech mods with one. especially not to over tighten the locking ring...but of course that taught me how to get stock mod connections loose without damaging them, so its all good.
