Magnets Size For Box Mods

I'm wanting to put magnets on my Segelei & God 180 and didn't know what size to order. New to the site & didn't know if there's a thread started somewhere on the forum for box mod sizes ?

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to accomplish eINDY...the only place I know of magnets being used is on mech mod switches. I'm relatively new to vaping but this is something I've never heard of. Could you clarify or better describe your goal?

Instead of using the factory screws that hold the battery plate on, some people drill out the holes and replace with magnets to make it easier to change out the batteries.

If you have the box, measure the screw head, that would be your magnet size. A hair bigger is better then a bit smaller.

Should i also use the same thickness that is for the back plate's as well for the actual mod itself or should i go a little thicker for it ?

I'm not familiar with the boxes you listed but if I were you I would just get the same size magnets to keep it simple. 1/16 thickness should do. Just make sure you have room to go thicker if that is what you want to do.

After looking into the Segelei a bit more i found that it has the magnets already there.(Screws Optoinal) that will be nice not to have to worry about messing it up. Thanks for the replys.
