Ok, I started this thread yesterday with a new idea (original thread was on VF). I had purchased a Sharpie Magnum permanent marker and wanted to mod it.
I hollowed out the bottom using my caveman tools (sharpened screwdriver and a metal file) and needed a way to get threads in it. Having only ghetto tools I decided to use the threads from the bottom of my old magnum mod. I cut it in half, filed it down to fit inside the market and JB welded it in there. That gave me the bottom piece and my kill switch.
I then brainstormed methods of keeping all the important parts in the top. I first thought about using a rubber stopper wedged in:

but quickly dropped that idea. My next idea looked much better on paper (or screen) so I started working on that one.
It ended up working pretty well and today after going to radioshack to get a switch I finally got it all put together. Once together I tried the maiden vape only to be severly dissapointed. I pulled the whole thing apart (not an easy job) and tested each part. Each part tested fine seperately but when put together nothing. I then put it all back and tested again. I realized that I had been testing with a dc jack while it was apart (nothing to hold battery to the leads) and with battery while it was together. That led me to finding that the batteries were causing it not to work. Seems the charger from DX is screwed and likes to show batts as charged when they arent. I now have them on the charger and hopefully in a few hours I will be hitting my new toy. ***Just took a batt off the charger and tested this bad boy out. Hitting GREAT!! less flavor and throat hit than my 510 by itself, but bigger clouds and it hits smoothly.
And now for the grand finale
