If you won't mail them out, can I at least have a picture of one? ;)

Well. I finally got an update:
"Product Type: Xpresspost
Expected Delivery : 2012/05/15
Updated Delivery : 2012/05/16
Delivery date changed : Item was received by Canada Post at a different location than expected."

Also, there was a problem processing my payment on my other order, so it hasn't even shipped yet (kinda my fault *whistles innocently*)

Folks I know these feelings well, and they are very healthy (uh, okay, maybe not so much for the mail carrier but still....). They are part of the excitement of the vaping Experience, and as such should be treasured moments! You'll be okay, just give it a little time. Once you build up enough stock on hand, most of the time you may not even be tempted to pay the few bucks extra for "Express Priority Mail" or whatever they call it in your neck o' the woods. Well, at least some of the time, like when there are no new trinkets involved, or flavors you haven't tried or anything like that. You know, now & then.

Guess I'd better get this stuff ordered. Happy vaping! :vapor:

I made a deal with myself that I would only order things "Super duper priority I need it now" mail 3 times a year. (Not just for PV stuff, but any ordering online. If the extra charge for priority shipping is less then $2 then I won't count it)

It might sound weird, but it works.

Just as super guilty. I'm two weeks in to vaping, 1 week off analogs. When I decide to purchase my first hardware, a Riva starter kit and 2 bottles of menthol juice, I chose EV Cigarettes, a vendor in town who only sold online. They guaranteed same day shipping if ordered before 2pm. I placed an order at 1:45 pm that Friday. They had priority shipping which usually takes 1 day to receive. Called them to make sure they received it.

Saturday
8:00 am - I spent the first waking hours of my Saturday figuring out how to look busy but have an eye on the street to see the mail carrier vehicle.
8:30 am - In the garage and working on the front lawn or cleaning out the bed of my truck.
10:00 am - Chores done and the mail carrier was not here yet?!!!
10:05 am - Genius inspiration comes - I can put the flowered cover on the mailbox my wife ordered 6 months ago and I never installed. (lost it in the garage for a while) Can't miss him that way.
11:00 Done - and no mailman. This is ridiculous - I am a "vaporazzi".
11:05 am - decided to make my self calm - and go inside, pay some bills - will have my son check the mail every 15 min or so.
1:30 pm - can't stand it, go to check the mail, it arrived with and was covered with 3 inches of circulars and junk mail.
1:55 pm - heart rate has slowed and the shakes have stopped, top-off charge done - happily vaping my first flavors.

So I got my 1st order in under 24 hours from online checkout to first vape. I am probably going to order my Provari today and I have converted six people who were pack-a-day smokers to vaping.

 My latest order just arrived...I just happened to be in the kitchen making some half-caf, (it's 3:30 in the afternoon, so time to think about lowering the caffeine for the day and since it's my day off, I seem to have had more coffee than usual)... looking out the window while waiting for the 10 second Keurig to brew... and saw the mail truck pull up....the suspense is killin me while he takes his good old time getting outta that truck!!! OMG he's heading for my driveway.... (I want to meet him half way but not dressed for it LOL) :p .... ahhhhhhhhh :vapor:

I used to work at Starbucks. I was the master of espresso shot contests. (My record? 18 over 9 hours.) Then I quit. Then I started drinking just under a liter of Coke zero a day. (I had almost stopped drinking coffee at that point)
Now (2 years later) I have started working at Starbucks again, and I have noticed that I am way more sensitive to caffeine then I used to be! I no longer get a latte (free) on each break. For my last break and after work I almost never get anything caffeinated. Instead I usually opt for a smoothie (or occasionally a chai or green tea)

Back on topic:
Canada post is evil. I have not had an update since they received the package. What's the point of having a tracking number if they never update it? :glare:
I have two ciggies left. I don't want to have to buy a new pack before it gets here! I guess I'll decide weather or not to buy more when I run out...
If they update the tracking information and it's within BC by the time I'm off work tomorrow then I won't buy another pack.

I've never been vary patient for things like this. (I'm weirdly patient about other things, though)

I'll try and wait, but I tend to get bigger cravings when I'm stressed (And the universe has been throwing me some curveballs lately. I can't work out if the universe has a vary malicious sense of humor, or if it's just mean:()

~*~*~*~
Update!
~*~*~*~

So. I got locked out of my bedroom last night (long story on why I have to keep my bedroom locked, it will have to wait for next time. I ended up looking for my keys for 4 hours.), and the power cable for my phone was inside (power was at 31%, barely enough for me to trust it to wake me up in the morning). I slept on the couch (used an old alarm clock that I doubted still worked). I managed to find some somewhat useable clothes for work (an old black shirt that had a hole in the sleeve, and a skirt that was barely long enough to comply with the dress code, and it kept on riding up all day!) And I happened to have my wallet from ordering pizza for dinner. At 6:30 am, It was already a horrible day. I ended up dropping things, being completely klutzy and scatterbrained all day. Even though I was sent home early because there were way too many people scheduled, I have a feeling that it was specifically me sent home because I was messing up so much :(
I ended up buying a pack of smokes on my break because I was so upset. I also managed to lose my wallet. Luckily customer service had it, but it took 15 minutes to get it back from the vault and another 20 minutes to get my debit card re-issued (Cust. service had called to put a hold on it "for my protection". I know it's better then having my account emptied, but it was aggravating, none the less.)

Anyway, I get home and luckily I had remembered to leave the back door unlocked when I was leaving for work (no keys, remember?), so I start doing dishes etc, not really thinking about anything... And then on a hunch, I checked my tracking number (the one that was never updated). It said:
"Item processed at local delivery facility"
Then
"Item out for delivery"

It turns out that my mother had put the package on the stairs (next to the main entrance) for me. And because I didn't have my keys and used the back door, I had missed it.
So YAY it's finally here, but other then then that... Today kinda sucks. And did I mention that the spare key to my bedroom has also gone mysteriously missing?

Sorry for the vent guys. I just needed to get this off my chest... :(
