Before I began, I would like explain that I'm still rookie that rencently got joyetech emode last Nov 4. This is my first ecig. So, I wanted to see if my method to maintaining my emode is good or bad or need be changed. Pls feel free to give advices.

Take emode tank apart include white seals and washing the with warm water for a clean and sticky texture. For a better seal.

I used baby flu meds that has plastic needle that need slightly drilled to fit C2 atomizer. I pour grains vodka in shot glass and put needle with atomizer on in there to pumping to cleaning. After pumping, I pull needle to get vodka in the needle and left it in shot glass overnight. Next day I put fresh vodka for final pumping then set C2 on paper towel to allow it naturally dry.

I also noticed my emode get flooded when I aligned those holes between tank and seal. My emode seems be working best when those holes are not lined up. Red line is bad. Green line is good. I still get flood but not flooded enough to split ejuices in mouth however its also can be bad atomizer due of power drop.

Then put everything back together.

I did tried that method and has been doing this method. I think it was cuz of atomizer were getting bad. So bad that pissing ejuice in mouth but it still producting good clouds. I got sick of ejuice in my mouth. So I switched to new atomizer and draw slowly for over five seconds to see if this method will outlast than previously. I'm still rookie and have a question. Can bad atomizers still producting good vapor clouds is bad?

I cleaned my new emode yesterday for the first time, and am having major problems today, lots of leakage and getting eliquid in my mouth. I've been trying to figure this out all morning, and I'm at the point where I think the atomizer is not hooking up correctly with the 'bayonet' system on the bottom cap of the atomizer tank (the third picture in your series). Could it be there was a rubber ring inside the cap, I mean a small one, not the large white one, that one's there (hard to explain but I mean inside the hole where the battery-connection is)? It doesn't feel secure when I fasten the bayonet-screw now. Can't see clearly in your picture if there's something there. I'll post a picture too to show you how mine looks, hope it's clear. Thanks for any help!

Yes it doesn't feel secure at all while fasten the bayonet. I think its the way it was designed for. The blub lock slot were for removeal reason I believe. To fasten it just need a good connect to battery and seal the seat on top of atomizer. With good atomizer, if I have bad leakage. With fully assembled emode tank, I wrapped paper towel the air flow hole and blow it like its whistles to take trapped liquid out. With bad atomizer, I have tried everything and nothing solves then I replaced it new atomizer and solved all liquid leakage. Even if bad atomizer still vape clouds.

This plastic part is what I think is problematic. This piece on my emode doesn't look right because it doesn't look flat like I first got it. It look like shifted or warbled. I'm currently experimenting other tank to find tank I like. Once I found tank then I will tear emode tank apart to try pinpoint the leakage. Maybe joyetech will fix this bug. If they are, i hope they will add knurl on their top end for easier twist off. That top cap is tough. Anyway I think this plastic piece are reason why its leakage.

Thanks for your tips Freddy. I have tried everything: removing the rubber seal rings, cleaning them, new atomizer, etc. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and it starts to gurgle and I get juice in my mouth. I've tried putting the rubber seal with the holes in it alighned with the air-vent hole or not-alligned, but that doesn't seem to do the trick either. Driving me crazy! I'm kind of disappointed, I thought I was buying a top-notch product and it's the worst atomizer I've ever had... can't they make these things a bit more fool-proof? Any other tips are welcome, I had already bought 3 replacement atomizers, so I'll probably try them before I throw the whole thing away ;-)

Ya same here really disappointed with the emode tank, waste of money so far. Only high PG juices seem to work well, VG juices forget it I haven't had any luck getting them to wick well. I put a Protank on my emode and it performs well.

Oddly, for me vg works best.... I just bought protank 2. Its worst than emode tank. Mmmm

I have been getting a lot of gurgling with juice that is very watery but when I switch a thicker (not much) juice it all goes away. It looks like to me that thinner juices have a problem with this tank. I will try some more with other VG juice to see if this stands.
So far Tennessee cured by Johnson Creek NO GOOD (I thing I got a bad batch since this is VG).
Vanda VG from Jonson creek VERY GOOD.
Next to try is RYK from Fluidvapor.com this very thick VG e-liquid. WOW no gurgle whatsoever and plumes of smoke with RYK

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum but had to add my two cents about the Emode tank and atomizer.

It absolutely is pure GARBAGE! It floods, it leaks, the atomizer has a terribly short life span, and for the eMode to cost over $100 and come with this POS is ridiculous.

If a product ever deserved a recall, the eMode tank is at the top of the list. DO NOT BUY THIS OVERPRICED PIECE OF CRAP.

If anyone from Joyetech reads this, I borrowed an eGo-T with tank type B, which is a PLASTIC tank, which only costs about $10 without the battery, and it doesn't leak or flood!

Give everyone their damn money back for the eMode. It is pure garbage and you are ripping off people advertising this thing as if it is good!

STAY AWAY FROM THE EMODE UNTIL THEY CHANGE THE TANK, which they probably will never do!
