Hi all,
I recently purchased a diver V2 for my billet box and I can't get it to work right. All I seem to get is flooding and dry hits simultaneously.
I am using 2.2ohm R/NR wire and it seems to fire way to quick even at 4 volts. When I put the carto in the filled tank juice just drips down the center through the bottom hitting the firing pin and gurgling. Am I not using enough cotton? Is there somewhere I can by premade coils that will work better? Any advice would be so helpful.

I've got a Diver V2 in a billet box and so far it's been performing great.
I've got a nr-r-nr build in it using a ready made wire $3.25 Pre-made Welded Wires - NR-R-NR (100-Pack) 100-pack - 0.18mm (33 AWG) / 2.2ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping.
I use anywhere from 2 to 3 ohms premade wire on the Diver V2 when being used in the billet box.
I use cotton for the build and I try not to use too much of it so not to hamper the wicking properties of the cotton. So far no dry hits or flooding. I've found that as the liquid in the billet box's tank starts getting low, the flavor starts to get a little weak. I find filling the tank back up I get full flavor again.

ibktops,
I tried to tell you the wick has to be very thin, but I don't think you realize how much thinner. Please watch this video by Navy Lifeguard. He is wicking a German atty but the Diver2 should be wicked the same way. Start at the 21 min mark when he makes his wick. As you can see, less than 1/5 of the wick ends up in the juice channel. I also had wicking problems when I first got the Diver2 but when I saw how tiny the wick should be, I was shocked.

Also, the ready made wicks you got from Stormy's uses nichrome as the resistance wire. They also have kanthal which is not black in the middle. No big deal, just a more metallic taste unless you flame the wire.

But seriously, watch the video and see what your wick should look like.
