Will not fit how? To wide? Or when you try to thread on the button it won't thread? What do you mean?

Edit: Make sure you take off the smallest part of the tube. If you disassemble it completely there should be 3 parts for the tube plus the switch and top cap. Make sure you are using the largest 2 and not all 3.

Hate to tell you this but that is NOT an authentic VTC 4, that button at the top should have a black part around it instead of white.

Edit: Taking that green sticker off should work. I watched the videos and both sides it stops at the sticker. That is adding just enough space so the battery won't fit with it on there.

Edit 2: Sorry didn't mean the wrapper meant sticker!

dont take the wrapper off... if you do the battery will touch the side of the tube and "turn on" the mod constantly...

Not the actual wrapper of the battery! Just the green sticker over the wrapper.. that's what needs to come off.

Thanks for catching that. I'ma bit tired.

Now, I would do it because I have shrink-wrap on hand to re-do my batteries if the wrapper gets damaged, but there is a possibility that battery just has too much shrink wrap on it.

I say this because of the button top. VTCs aren't native button top. Someone along the line added the button top and another layer of wrap to hold it in place.

I believe that the OP will be fine removing the extra layer and the add-on button top.

i took the sleeve off and now it fits....wow I thought it was fast tech  wrote a ticket and everything...
Unfortunately it seems too short... I bought the battery from myvaporstore.com

now you need to remove the smaller section of the tube. that short section is used when you want to add a Kick to it....

Darn, already posted my reply before I saw that. I hope I'm not stating something you've already tried, but you don't need all three body tubes for the 18650 battery. Also, the copper pins should be threaded, allowing you to fine-tune for battery size.

Alright, I'm getting it to function but due to the button top battery the bottom firing switch is not threaded all the way leaving a slight gap which I assume is about the same size as the button.

wow I am learning lol...

I suppose I now need a flattop battery, I purchased the button top thinking I could use it well on this king clone and a 4nine later down the road.

Maybe a kick could solve this problem? Photo on 7-9-14 at 10.42 PM.jpg second gap is firing lock...
(fyi, the copper pin at the top is adjustable and adjusted all the way tight/secure)

Honestly just buy a true VTC4/5 :p Will work better in the long run. I honestly don't know if that is a true VTC4 battery so I'd be very very wary of using it.
