I have had some juice that I didn't like right from the start. I'm sure that we've all been there. But, some juices tasted so bad it wasn't a matter of like, it was my body saying don't give me this. A few of them actually made me feel sick. These are juices that in general, people raved about.

Now, after steeping the juice that I didn't like, I still didn't like them. Just not my taste, and I can accept that. However, the ones, that were sickening after steeping tasted really good.

It makes me wonder if such a change can take place, should I really be vaping something that not long ago made me feel ill. The stuff is still there!

I guess the bigger question is why the juice, whoever makes it, is not ready to go right out of the bottle. I have had many juices that were. One example is Jokesmoke. I've never steeped it, and never needed to.

Any thoughts?

E-Juice is the same idea as a home-made chili or stew, it tastes better the next day. Canned chili or stew is ready when you open it and that is as good as it is going to get.

Fresh made e-juice must steep to allow the ingredients to complete their bonding. Popular flavors can be made in large batches ahead of time, others are mixed as they are needed in smaller lots. nearly all e-juice changes flavor slightly over time, usually for the better since the stronger flavors mellow together with the other ingredients.

Relax! Enjoy!

I've got a good assortment of juices that have just sit there and steeped, some have been steeping for over a year LOL. Sometimes juice just sounds better than it tastes ;) With some others, steeping does help, other juices you can just vape the day you get them and they are great right from the start. With me it's not even so much the taste as it is the total experience, some juices just make you feel better than others. So it's all a personal thing, your body will tell you what it likes and you just have to listen :)

I've had a 20ml bottle of Jokesmoke for almost 3 months now. I tried it when I got it and I disliked it. I keep trying it occasionally and I still dislike it. I taste a weird buttery taste when I vape it - that's all I taste - I keep trying it because everyone else loves it... but I just don't get it. Maybe one day I will like it lol.

I find that my taste for juices vary. Some days I can't get enough of a certain juice - 2 weeks later I hate it, then a while later I will love it again.

Just goes to show everyone has different tastes. I guess Jokesmoke is not for you and that's OK. I've never got a buttery taste though. I taste cotton candy and I think a touch of menthol, but who knows. I like it, but not too much of it. Half a day at best so far. However, if it were the only flavour that there was, I'd be happy.
