I've decided to get the joye ego T. I've read that using the LR atomizer improves the flavor, but the LR atty's dont last as long. I've read that 2 weeks is the average. Is there any way of cleaning them, taking care of them etc that can improve on this.

When I first started with LR510s, I'd go through 2 in a week. I then started to stock up on the atty switch up every 3 days and clean them after a week or so. The reason my attys were trashed so fast is because of my juice. My juice somehow causes the insulator to block the air hole and then its like sucking a watermelon thru a coffee straw. Found a thread on here suggesting to drill holes and that helped a lot but of course, only mess with it when its already used.

I clean my attys about every 3-5 days I also drill the air holes out as was already mentioned. With my ego t and my lr 510 I've yet to burn an atty just started to use 306 lr attys. The lr ego t and attys lasted me 3 months and I just sold them still working the 510 lr's lasted 3 months and still have them. I keep them clean no dry burns just use them and clean them.
Ps for cleaning all I do is soak over night is iso alcohol blow the alc thru let dry for few hours and use.
My LRs don't get a soak in IA unless they're gummed up. I just blow them out at least once a day. The trick to making LR atties last is being able to keep them wet, but not too wet. Dry or flooded LRs tend to die sooner. It also helps to rotate them out.
My T atties are going on five weeks with a weekly Vodka supersonic bath. My original regular eGo atties still good after two months.
I have used the same two LR for my type B tank system for almost 6 weeks. They are both still working. I don't clean unless they get a burnt taste, then I put them in a cup under my Keurig single cup coffeemaker (without coffee) and let the hot water run through the atty. I then stir it around in the cup a few times until the water cools. I have not popped anything out and I have not done any kind of dry burn.

Thanks a lot for your help. I just started e-cigs about a week ago,after smoking analogs for 34 years. I made the mistake of getting a Blu-Cig, but after doing a ton of research on the net (which i should have done before getting anything) I think the Joye Ego T is going to do it. I also ordered a passthrough so i don't have to wast battery life when at home. I'm looking forward to my taste buds and sense of smell returning.
