Making my coils last.

rather than the power applied to the coil, I find that the amount of sweetener, or specific flavor (chocolates and tobaccos in particular) will gunk the coils

Which makes a coil last longer - lower wattage or lower temperature (or both)? Does it depend on the materials in the coil?

Its the juice you use.

Sweet Vapes can gunk up the coil in a day or two.

Unflavored can go weeks.

I use an RTA ( little Kayfun in my avatar)

A coil in my Kayfun lasts 3 months. I change the wick about once a week. Dry burn gunk off the Kanthal coil. Insert another wick and I am vaping again in 3 minutes.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I am mostly vaping for the flavor, less so the nic, and I prefer sweet flavors. Looks like I'm going to be going through coils pretty quick then?

Then you need to go the Rebuildable route making coils and wicking them.

The flavor from the Darang RDA, Goblin Mini RTA, Silverplay Nano RTA, Freakshow Mini RDA, Derringer RDA and others are FANTASTIC and you don't spend a Fortune on pre made coils.

A Kanthal coil costs me about 2 cents and lasts about 3 months. With Rayon wicking and coils i make i spend about a Dollar for wire and wicking for a year of vaping.
