Progress update: firstly, I took dragonbone's advice and bought the mini eGo -- super cheap and I'm excited about it! Secondly, I went ahead and pulled out my eGo Twist with a big ol Kanger T2 brimming with juice today in front of a few colleagues with whom im pretty close, and every one of them said "COOOOOL!" they all are smokers and all wanted to try it (i hope they arent sick, cause i let em!) and they were all super impressed, asking me all kinds of questions (gave me an opportunity to show all my newfound vaping knowledge -- thanks to you guys!) and I even referred one of them to the boards! victory for vaping!
Wow, congrats :)!

Welcome betterB. I'm new too and I'm very interested in the info that Dragonbone gave you. I think I will check it out also. I love ECF... so much constructive information.

Update: loving the mini eGo...I got one that I'm pretty sure is 450mah and another from a different retailer that appears to be 350mah...wasn't aware they made them in these different sizes, but each works well...I'll say this: great handy devices, fits in pocket fine and two batteries last me til I get home at night...however, they do look a little odd I suppose -- I've had a few people see it and say "what the hell is that, are you doing drugs?" not cool...but people are always suspicious of things they are unfamiliar with...

Hey congrats!!! By the way, the eRoll is out! Just saw them in Health Cabin a couple of days ago. I think I am going for the white... Or silver. Black looks awesome too. Aghh.. not sure yet... :).

Sweeet! You will have to let me know how you like it! Do you have to use their atty/cartridge setup or is it like any other eGo with a 510 thread, just coooooooler?

I totally understand. Some people have kept their distance from me at my college while I'm vaping. I guess they think it's a drug delivery device. Lol

I got to the point where I'd vape in the bathroom because vapor doesn't linger like smoke and it's impossible to get caught. Some people don't think anything of a bathroom smelling like peppermint. But now that I think about it, maybe that seems a little drugaddictish. Lol

Long story short, I now vape everywhere like no one's buisness. I vape in the mall, IN CLASS, in the grocery store, in the movies, while walking my dog and I take pride in doing it. I feel that I'm doing my vapers and smokers a service by publicising vaping and while doing so I am hopefully lucky enough to convert a few smokers and to educate a few nonsmokers to fight with us to keep vaping legal. It's almost like a peaceful protest to smoking and the horribly mislead bans.

Plus, I'm not smoking. I'm doing something that is saving my life and as long as I don't ever touch an analog I have no concern with what people think. This vaping thing makes me hate smoking and helps me be loads healthier and that's all that should matter.

Oh and I have the same set-up as you. Well I will once my nova arrives. I'm loving this twist. It truly is a game changer. :)

Happy vaping.

I just ordered two vision twists 400mah. I have bigger equipment, but thought I would try "downsizing" for certain events , places I may be. I have an Ecab that works pretty well IMO, but I think dragonbone is on to something here. I looked at the eroll too. Looks like it would be better than the Ecab, although it's very similar. If I'm right, its regulated at 3.7 volts, and thats real close to the "sweet spot" I like to dial in on my twists/spinners with my rebuildable atomizers. This just may be the thing! I'm just not quite ready to "pull the trigger" on this right yet, so dragonbone let us know how it works out for you.

Nope, only eRoll stuff works with it. Anyway, it is TINY! The size of an cigarette, so even if eGo stuff fitted, it would look huge in comparison, like top heavy, and it wouldn't fit in the PCC anyway. However the replaceable atties are the same as the eGo-C and the eCab.

Lol... OK. I will place an order today. I really like the idea of it for certain circumstances. At home and casual, I will still use my bigger stuff.

Within a day of vaping at work, i had 5 co-workers that placed orders for starter kits and so far we are all vaping together and have a little support group among us to help keep each other off of analogs!

Nicely done! I'm envious...haven't been able to convert anyone yet :-(

You have a setup that works and i understand being worried about public use. My opinion is if someone is curious that gives you the opportunity to explain and educate people about vaping. The more people that know and understand what we do the better. Also if they are a smoker you might open their eyes for them and could possibly even save their life. Use the device that makes you happy proudly!

+1
I don't mind to share what I've learned about vaping with people either. I've not had a cigarette in over two years. I smoked for 30 years @pack and a half a day. I feel better even though I didn't feel "bad". If I can help someone else quit them too then thats a great thing

Don't change your set up if you like it! Its too hard to get a comfortable set up to begin with and besides that as you grow in the vaping world and your taste buds regenerate your tastes will change even more over the first 6 months especially. This is what I did and suggest to others, Get the vendors you love/like/use most to send you some business cards, lots of vendors also have referral rewards programs too! When you are approached or questioned about your gear give them a brief few words on what it is etc.. and then offer them a few of the cards so they can go online and learn more. Most people ask you (is that an electric cigarette? & does it really work) lol I answer yes and most people even if they don't smoke they probably love someone in their life that does and would like them to quit or know someone that does already want to quit, they are so happy and satisfied with the cards you gave them that they go on about their business mostly with a smile & a wave and you don't have to explain the history of ecigs to them lol. You should be proud of your new rig and show it off! Quitting smoking is a huge and wonderful accomplishment.. Hope this helps! It works for my Husband, Sister and I..

hi all,

trying to get my 5 posts done today so i can join the japan forum. moved to tokyo last year. one of my old college friends is mad into vaping in LA and i've been inspired to try and make the switch. i went to a store in tokyo that happens everything (the japan folk will know it: tokyu hands) but realized that the e-cigs they sell are nicotine-free. i was reading the japan forum but am a bit confused. so, it's legal but they dont sell good kits and nicotine liquids in tokyo?

thanks in advance!

Hiding away in the bathroom and buying low profile devices like youre ashamed to be vaping isnt going to get us anywhere except stuck into the same miserable little corner as smokers.

You made a GREAT decision to start vaping.Who cares if others think youre using drugs? You know youre not and Ive found that more often than not vaping a mod out in public invites people to ask questions, especially smokers who profess interest in quitting. Ive referred at least a dozen people to these forums and hopefully started them on the road to recovery.

Ive had positive reactions from smokers, non-smokers and even doctors while using mine. Only once have I ever had a negative reaction to vaping in public and that guy was so anti-smoking that NOTHING I could have said or done would have convinced him that I wasnt killing him and his kid.His emotions and close-mindedness are HIS problems not mine and certainly not yours but when you hide the fact that youre vaping youre reinforcing that kind of behavior from people and letting them make you feel guilty about something that you shouldnt.

VAPE ON!!
