Mako 510 connector and cartos

Hi Folks.

Just got my Midi fired up tonight. I was really curious how my 2.5 ohm cartos would do with it, but they don't work, because they have a connector with a center contact that's flanged, not a solid button. The center post on the Mako connector is small enough that it doesn't contact those lips (or flanges). I assume everyone knows that connector style -- I'm being lazy and not posting a picture, but I can, tomorrow.

Is there some sort of cup, or adapter, that will allow this to work?

What brand cartos are they? I use/sell boge ones and they have a slit in them as well and they work just fine. However if you have used that carto on another mod.. that center post can get pushed up and not make contact. to fix this all you have to do is get a pin or a small knife and wiggle the center pin of the carto a smidge so it will make contact. Never had an issue with any cartos other than that.
