I've been thinking about buying one has anyone tired them? I heard this was a mech, but don't know about aluminum if there as hard hitting as Brass or copper
I have a black Manhattan V2 authentic from Continuous Current, hit like a train. I have plenty of brass and copper mods that don't hit as hard. Many times I find that how hard a mod hits has more to do with the design of the actual mod as opposed to the material that the tube is made of. Keep in mind the your atty, build and battery will play the biggest part in how hard the mod is going to hit.
Very true, silver is the metal that all other metals are measured against on the conductivity scale.
But, let's not steer our vaping friend wrong and get him into the trap of shopping for a mod solely based on what metal it is made from because behind build, battery and atty it plays a very small role considering almost every mech tube mod out there is made from a metal that its conductivity would have small consequence.
^ My Kepler Stingray X is my ADV for just that reason. Very precise threads, silver coated floating pin, copper interior, SS exterior. It did need some modding and up-rated parts to make it sing.
I've got the SS version and I love it! It hits pretty hard, and honestly since it's a hybrid mod, and the machining is top notch, I don't think the voltage drop is very different between the different versions (brass, copper, aluminum).
