Thats a good question windmiller! With mine I just pull the mouthpiece, rinse it out several times till the wicks look fairly clean, let it dry, and do 4 or 5 short dryburns and it is generally good to go. may not work for everyone but did for me, just saying. maybe bad or danno will come by with a better suggestion. I have one I have used for over 2 months.

If vodka doesn't whiten the wicks completely, peroxide works well.

Otherwise, I do pretty much the same as everyone: rinse it, get it drunk, rinse again, dry burn (heh - I don't have the patience to wait for it to dry naturally, I blow-dry it for a bit, and burn, dry or not), rinse again to get the ash off, and done.

Yeah, the last rinse if probably unnecessary - just blowing out, or gently brushing out, works fine.

Yup I only let them fully dry when I'm at home with my other toys to use. When I'm out here on the road I rinse and dry burn till its dry, blow it out, fill and vape. :D

I take a hot shower with mine, I get sooo much done in the shower - shave, brush my teeth, clean my cartos...then blowdry my hair, the cartos...

I rinse mine out in Everclear..1s that the wicks are still not clean..I soak for an hr or 2..Its been working fine for me

I just rinse in hot water, if that doesn't work I soak in cheap vodka overnight.

I do an over night soak in expensive vodka (the same vodka I drink lol) rinse with water then air dry, and dry burns. (Like moat others here) it works well enough I think.

I've found with the stardusts, I pull out the silicone seal with a paperclip and hold them under the faucet on hot. I use a pair of toothbrushes as chopsticks. I put the steel band right up on the faucet so I get a nice stream of hot water over the coils. It cleans the wicks very well. I have a water pick thing that connects to the shower, and used to use that, but it was a little too strong and could really mangle the wick.

I don't know why, but dry burning seems to reduce the throat hit on cartos for me. I try to dry burn as little as I have to.

I have even rinsed it out and filled it right back up, no drying, no dry burning. It takes a few hits to get going, but surprisingly does not long.

That's a good point. Really good rinse will get most of the dirt out of the wicks, and, sometimes, if the juice is not dark and sugary, all of it. And if the coil isn't really heavily gunked up, there is no real need to dry burn, sometimes just brushing it lightly with those little dental brush-pics (whatever they are called) is enough.

Though one of the reasons I like dunking them in alcohol of some variety is for disinfecting purposes. I figure clean is good, seeing how I inhale from this stuff.

And, yeah, I've also used them wet on occasion. LOL The first few hits is like vaping water, but after five or six it's fine.

I pull the silicone cap out with a hemostat (stole it, I mean "borrowed" it, from my dog groomer roommate), and have just been running them through 3, 6 minute cycles in the ultrasonic cleaner in filtered water after a quick rinse under the faucet. Dump the water, and run three more cycles with fresh filtered water. Is working like a charm on all my clearomizers. If I used a really sweet juice, might do 2-3 dry burns.
