when i started my journey into the e cig world, i wouldn't even consider the manual batts, for the simple reason i wanted it to perform like an actual cigarette.. i didn't want to fiddle around for a stupid button to just take a tok off of it, i thought it would just be a pain in the .... or for something else ( button ) to go wrong with... well needless to say when v4l had a sale going on and after reading some reviews of the manuals, i decided to take a chance on one. so when it arrived i couldn't wait to try it out. now mind you, i'm used to my auto. i pressed the button a couple of times and thought to myself, hmmm not sure if i'm going to like this... but you know what - i love it, from now on it will be manuals for this gal.. it gives you more of a throat hit, but more importantly you actually get MORE FLAVOUR. so my advise is to give it a try, i'm so glad that i did...

I am the same way now, manuals just perform much better for me, probably doesn't help that all my autos are either regular ones with the old size holes and useless for premiums, or short ones with bigger holes that don't have a sensitive enough switch.

Kinda staying away from them now, wastes money taking the risk, manuals just work.

HAHAHAHAAAAAAA! Manuals all the way! I started off with autos but after using a manual I just could't go back. IA with others who say that manuals are better for flavour and TH. Plus with me being Miss Clutz autos just don't stay functional in my hands for long anyways. Manuals survive being dropped much better than autos unless they suffer a drop so hard that it cracks the ash cap. (RIP old Pink XL Manual. I did love you so!)

One advantage to me of reading on this forum for so long before I ordered is that I went with manuals instead of automatics when I finally ordered. I did order an auto shorty for driving, but I don't get out much right now, so I mostly use the manuals. (Actually, I don't anticipate a problem using the manual while driving, but I didn't want to worry about it.)

The main fact that convinced me to get manuals is that they are sealed, so if I get a cart that is too full, it won't kill my batt.

So, once again, thanks to everyone for all of the helpful input! ;)

I have both in all sizes and use the autos almost exclusively on the go. I like not having to worry about the button with an accident and not having to press it. I had some that didn't always work when I pressed the button...inconsistent. Then again, I have one shorty auto that doesn't stop until 1/2 sec after you stop drawing....LOL.

Seriously, I love the new auto XL's!

I too started with auto's, couldn't get my head around the whole pushing a button thing, i mean who is going to push a button.... duh, that ended up being me, before i purchased my Vapour King, i bought two manuals for my m401 Loved loved loved it.
Today my V4L XL manual batteries arrived. Like the others have posted these are awesome, I cant yet comment on how long they are lasting me, but coupled with the cool carts ....Finally i am HAPPY with this PV. Flavour, throat hit and vapour ...im in lluurrrvveeee. :)
If you're thinking about the size, like i did, well you get used to it. I think it looks mad.
