Manual vs Automatic

It looks like we all have different preferences- guess that's why so many options are available.

I always preferred autos and still do on the stick batteries. My favorite is the auto 65mm with a standard SI carto when I go out and I use them around the house a lot too.

At first I didn't like manuals at all, but now prefer them in the Spinners and X2s. I don't like the manual stick batts at all and seldom use the two I have.

So my preferences are auto stick batts and manual fat batts.

I got mine, too. My flavors are more alive. They are also more consistent, because I have better control over the heat. I prefer to cycle it on and off slowly during a draw, I get a great mouthful, without the burned taste.

I saw someone else had described how the manual allowed to turn it on for a sec or two or three before puffing. So I figured I'd try it. Hahaha.. Where was the warning on that? I have two autos and one manual. I just got knocked out by 5 minutes of laughing and coughing at the same time.

Yeah, I don't do that. I don't like a lot of throat hit as it makes me cough too much. I tried it once and found the same issue. My wife thought it was quite funny.

I smoked analogs for many years and started with the 78 mm SI autos and now use SI X2 autos. The combination of a bigger battery and T3's have made vaping more enjoyable. Though I'm quick to clean up any leaks from my SI T3's I've read that there is still a hole(s) in the X2 so it isn't totally sealed. I've replaced each of my X2's once under warranty. I have ego style manuals but for the time being I find the automatics more to my liking. (I'm even thinking of giving the auto box mod from madvapes since the battery cell is replaceable.)

Anything cigarette style I have to use auto batteries. It feels weird holding a stick style battery and having to push a button.

The ego/spinner type battery where you hold the battery at the angle but still downward I need that manual button.

Everybody should have at least 1 manual in their collection. Can't do a dry burn to clean up a clearo head on automatic.

Actually, you can. It's simply a more involved process. You can also drip on autos, even.

I used manuals for a while because common wisdom is that manuals are just better. Didn't like pressing the button 300 times a day. Also, I was constantly hitting the cutoff with the manual. My lungs just didn't do any work. Now that I only have my autos I rarely hit the cutoff and get a much more satisfying vape.
