I'm still running on my first pair of HE2 batteries. Now I've just ordered a couple more. I was hoping to mark them in some way. Maybe put the purchase date on them.

I did mark one of them with a permanent marker a while back, but the wrapping is so smooth it came right off after a few cycles. Anyone got any suggestions for marking batteries?

One more question. My Sigelei has a glitch that causes the display to stay lit sometimes, which runs the battery down to 2.2V before it shuts off. It only happened half a dozen times before I figured out what circumstances lead to it happening, and the batteries seem to be fine now. I know it's bad for batteries to be run that low, would a handful of run downs like that do much damage?

thanks

decorators white masking tape works okay, holds up for along time when writing on it with pen. i write the date and parallel or series and you could pair them with the alphabet...

i have a glitch on my sigelei where sometimes over 50watts where the numbers are suppose to be rounded up i could get a point and a number aswell, it mostly happens when i race past the 50w to fast :D

although the purp efest arent the best batt's they must be quite hardy cus without realising i only had the one efest running in my parallel box mod at 0.06ohms, by the time i realised and pulled the hot battery i was below 3.5v, after letting it cool and rest i charged her back up and she still runs in sync(discharges) with the paired batt.

If you mark them with a sharpie, put a piece of clear Scotch tape over the marking afterward and it will last a long time ;-) Most devices will have enough room to accomodate the thickness of that piece of tape without any issue

I've never thought of that but it makes total sense. Thanks DreamWithin :thumb:

I do this for all sorts of things...juice bottles, put it over the addy on packages so the ink doesn't run if it rains. love me some packing tape! lol
