I just started using e-cigs and started with a cartridge type. As I'm learning more I can see where I will want to "load my own".

I'm wondering if any one out there has found what might be close to Marlboro reds in taste.

When you mean "cartridge type" do you have cartridges or cartomizers? If you bought pre-filled cartomizers the taste is likely not very good...

man that is the question of the year... A lot of vendor say "marlboro" but I have yet to vape one thatI would say " thats it" but inturn there are some good tobacco flavors out there. There are aloy of post out there on this. you could try to look them up.

Hi whaap.
I smoked Marlboro Light 100s. I haven't found anything that tastes like them.....I have only found juices that taste a whole lot better! lol
My favorite all day vape is Maxboro by FreedomSmokeUSA
and lucky you they are located in Tucson!
If you're looking for a juice that tastes like an analog, then you may want to try their American Spirit too.
Everyone is different, so you will have to try a few before you get your favorite I'm sure.

Someone suggested American spirit to me too. Tastes nothing like an analog. Seems they got close then added vanilla or somethin to it. I've tried many juices that are supposed to taste like analogs and none do. They always add a sweetener. Wishi I knew why. Closest I've found is vapor4lifes wowbacco. No vanilla, caramel, or other flavors though it still has a slightly sweet taste. If you like cigars, they duplicate that flavor well. I just gave up and am simply trying to find a flavor I like. I've conceded that nobody can make a true analog flavored juice.

No, finding a true analog flavored juice pretty much is impossible. (and I'm not sure I'd ever try it!) You'd have to somehow bottle the taste of burning tobacco. The closest thing I would assume you could do is make it smell/taste like the tobacco before you light it, maybe by soaking it in PG or something. PG and VG are themselves sweet, so that's where some of the sweet taste comes from. I don't add any sweetener at all to any of my own DIY juice because it's already too sweet. Besides, there are soooo many tasty flavors out there! Smoking tastes icky.

Marlboro smoker here myself. Ordered the MaxBoro with my kit because well, MaxBoro=Marlboro I thought. It doesn't. It's okay, but I like the Wyatt Erp much better. Ordered the Wyatt Erp because of a recommendation from here. Not sure if I'll get into any of the other flavors.

I hate to break the news to people like this, but you will never find anything that tastes like analogs. They put 4,000 chemicals (400 of which are known carcinogens) in them and you are breathing carbon monoxide for the "hit". If Ecigs had 5 known carcinogens they would be banned day one - literally.

Just think of it as though you are switching from Marl to Winston or BH, you'll get used to it. None taste like what you were used to - you'll become "used" to the new taste. I smoked Marl for 41 years, I know what you're looking for and you won't find it. Change is good.

I am really liking Johnson Creek's Red Oak Domestic. However, it's not necessarily a true tobacco flavor even though they would have you believe that. Despite that and the fact that many have told me JC doesn't produce much vapor, I have already adapted to the flavor from Marlboro Lights Special Blend. Of course none of this may help you. Good luck!
