Hi fellow vaperers, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a cartomizer brand/supplier that you've tried, that tastes close to a Marlboro light? And you're probably gonna say I need to mention what I'm using?? I really don't know.. it's a fantastic-hitting e-cig that has no name on the packaging. Costs $10 for a battery, usb adapter, and 2 cartomizers that seriously last for hours. I just get a little put off with the taste that comes with it... a slight sweet taste, I want closer to a Marlboro... no candy, no fruit, just cig.... lol

The reason I like the cartomizers is no screwing around every 30 min or hour, it just lasts and lasts. And I'm new to this, on 2nd week so feel free anyone to enlighten me on the aspects I may be overlooking. I also prefer the automatic over pushing a button... any good luck on this? Great forum here! Kinda bites being a noob but hey, with all our repetitious questions don't we make you look smart? Haha... hrmmmm

Hiya, I'm a total noob myself and only have used a disposable. I'm waiting on my mailman for my first set up. A KR808D that has cartomizers as well. But, anyway, from what I've read, carto's that would be filled with VG naturally have a sweeter taste. VG produces more vapor though. PG has more taste, but less vapor. So, a cartomizer filled with PG would probably be your best bet for a better, less sweet taste.

Thing is, if you do not know what model you have, where would you get replacements?

Some of the more experienced member will help you here I'm sure. Am I right though guys about my PG / VG statement?

Marb lights? No. I've tried about every tobacco flavor and nothing tastes like a cig. The closest you can get commercially is liquid that tastes like a freshly opened pack of cig's smells. The closest I've come to a real cig taste is a custom DIY mix I've been tweaking for a couple weeks now. You may want to try some sample size bottles of various tobacco flavors and fill some blank carto's to see what you might really like. Blank cartos filled with your own juice taste a LOT better than pre-filled cartos IMO. A plus to that is you don't get stuck with cartos you don't like. Fill one, if you don't like the flavor, you have 4 more blank cartos for other trials.

The above VG statement is true. VG has a natural sweetness to it.

Thanks for the replies... I have a 70 ml bottle that I made 65% pg and 35% vg.. no particular reason except that I've seen that config posted a few times. Maybe to get as much taste as possible but the vg to get good clouds, just not enough to make it sweet?

I'm doing some experimenting but mainly doing a lot of reading in here and other online sources. Kookie, to answer your question, I'll know what I've got in a few days... I ordered an ego today from cignot. If you're unfamiliar with it it's the same thing as the TW tornado, just different branding. I'm counting down the hours.. my first REAL vapor inhalator yea!!
