Hey guys, any of you had these three for comparison? I really like the basic principle design of this but can't make up my mind...

All are similarly priced, $150++

Marquis is supposedly easiest to build with the coiling kit, but I've been building for awhile so I'm quite comfortable. I'm more interested in flavor rather than vapor so I'm interested in what you guys think!

i only own the Veritas. flavor is great, but not the easiest to build on, and you cant do crazy coil builds on it. the design is pretty much leak resistant, unless you flip it upside down.

veritas was around 30 USD cheaper than the marquis if i remember right. 150 to 120.
it does come with its own drip tip so u don't have to spend money getting another if you do need to.
marquis is not really easier to build on than a standard 3 or 4 post dripper.
can't pinch and fire once its in so you'll just have to push it together once the build is in.
not the hardest thing to do.
wicking is more troublesome though.

find the veritas easier to build on than the marquis other than the stupid top screw thing which i have to use a pair of tweezers to tighten.
its a lot more leak resistant than the marquis but i don't have a leaking issue with either so i don't think its matters.
seem to be able to get more pulls out of the veritas with same amount of liquid but i was using a lower wattage at the time so that could be it.
find the flavour better on the marquis.

both have much tighter draws than your current drippers so you might have to get used to it.
can't remember which 1 has a tighter draw though but i think its the veritas.
or you can just stop by and try mine before you buy

Thank you both for your input, quite informative. Seeing that the marquis is quite hard to find I might go for the veritas. Shall wait for someone to give their input on the raptor, it looks promising. In the mean time I just got a derringer clone, and damnnnn the flavor is intense. And thanks errol for offering me to test! Will let you know if I would like to :)

I have a marquis 1:1 clone. Tbh it is actually not the easiest to build. You have to trap the wires under the negative post screws and sometimes the wire comes loose when adjusting the coil. 3 post design is still much easier, slot in to the post hole and tighten.. Also the build deck is very small, making it difficult to adjust the coils and clip the wires when building. You also have to build the second wire in reverse when using dual coils.. My biggest gripe however is that it gets super hot very quickly.. (vaping it at 40 watts) Despite all these cons, it does provide a really hot, dense, flavorful vape with a restrictive lung inhale, which I really like.

Heaven's gates opened before me and I was presented the opportunity to get a raptor, and my veritas clone just arrived too. Comparing both I really prefer the raptor as the screws are bigger to trap the wire.

Flavor wise veritas is slightly better IMHO but the raptor is really close. Factored with build quality and the slightly easier way to build, the raptor gets it for me.

But yeah I agree with you knightx, it gets so hot on my mech when I chain vape. Switched to nickel on a regulated mod and it is running much cooler.

Flavor is immense and maybe it enough to persuade me to not get the marquis. I still won't use a dripper outside though, too troublesome haha. Thank you all for your input.

All three very similar.. In the sense all got very reduced chambers. After a while all will taste the same ;) but personally I dun like vertical coils setup. I take long extended lung draw, 4-5s, and they dun seems to wick fast enough for my liking.. The marquis is easier imo as they provide rods for you to position the coils, while the Veritas is a bit harder in a 2 coil setup, where you need to share a air hole between 2 coils..

true on the dual coils for veritas.
but when i was using it, i always went with a single horizontal instead of a single or dual vertical.
found the flavour better and its always easier to wick horizontal coils imo as you're not being blocked by the deck.

doubt i will ever try horizontal coils on the marquis as the wicking seems more troublesome and i am pretty lazy when it comes to rebuilding.

True that on the lazy part. I'm still using the same coils on my derringer that I built two months ago. Hahahaha. Rewick every few days and just dry burn and brush the gunk away.

I have had a Veritas and just didn't care for it... it was a while ago, and recently I got ahold of a Marquis.
Coil not difficult because of the set up design... easy to trap the wires, and with those coil posts not a problem; didn't bother to make duals.
The trick is putting a cotton wick down the vertical coil, but each time I do it, it works.

Vape is incredible... flavor is tops and vapor for days.
Takes about 12 drops before it starts to leak out the air hole, just tilt towards the closed side and vape.
Its my favorite dripper.

Say hi to Isreal Rathurn for me! :D

On Topic; Veritas can make any dull juice taste better! YMMV

Own a veritas, like Minzy said not easy to build on for beginners.. Can't build
Very thick coils on it either since the screw don't really catch on The leads. However it is leak resistant and tons of flavor off it.. Really enjoyed it so far. Iphone yeah, if Ur getting a clone one with a plastic looking insulator on the positive leads, don't screw the nut down too tightly or dry burn it too long, it will melt and end up all mangled. Gonna get a marquis soon, lots of positive reviews on it so far as well as the ease of build.
