Hey all, I used to love my rough/maxi stack, until I doubled my 3.7 bats to use my maxi stack and blew easily 10 attys since buying. I've tried all ohm ratings, tried all HV that MV has, but can't find one that work for me, so in a mad spite I've had my unit sitting in a time out..... However last time I was at MV, I was teased with a 5 volt batt that just came in, and I really want to use my maxistack. Any suggestions on folks with a maxi that have the 5volt batt on attys that MV sells that will last more than 10 presses?

For those about to respond, I will only bug MV if I have a DOA (which they have been more than amazing to help with, ty) - If it gets one puff, then it's all on me is my feeling, so please no criticism. I am just looking to take my bad boy out, and not fry anything.

Help as always is appreciated!!

Running a pair of 18650s is 7.4 volts... and fresh off the charger probably 8.2 volts. The triple coil cartos (not available at madvapes) can take it, but it's a really hot vape. There are a few threads on ECF discussing 7.4v vaping, and I've read a few people saying they're pretty happy with a 5.0 ohm atty at 7.4.

The 5.0v ni-mh batt is my favorite. I run 1.6 ohm dual coil cartos and ~2.5 ohm attys on mine. I've also become pretty fond of the 2.0 ohm boge carto on the 5.0v batt as long as the juice is 100% VG. -- I have 7 of those batteries (had 8 - 1 finally died a couple of days ago) and my maxi rough stacks almost always have one of those in them.

Something else to consider is the 3.0v lifep04 batteries for 6.0v vaping. madvapes has a kit with a charger for a reasonable price. I think it will be a lot easier to keep your HV attys alive at 6.0v than at 7.4.
