Oklahoma Bed and Berth Scrool down to THE GAZEBO LODGE AT TRANQUILITY POINT

Tony, a she, is the manager. I'll go grab some quick directions from a PM I sent Trunker. I'll get more specific later but this should give you an idea of where you are going. I'll tie a balloon or something at the turnoff drive down to Gazebo parking. And I'll leave a basket of flashlights sitting on top my car. I was there during day so not sure how much lighting there is in parking area.

Normally there is only room for three cars for parking for the Gazebo but last I checked there was only one other cabin rented that shares that parking. I asked Tony if we could "double park" for the night and she said fine. We may have to use somebody's car as a shuttle to lots of parking really close by at the State Park Lodge. We'll just play it by ear.

Back in a few.

Here's direction I gave to Trunker but there is a mistake..... It is 0.3 miles to turn off, on left to parking, from Park Office.

Really in a rush right now. Do the Google map directions. Then make sure on map and not satellite and zoom in to see hyw 77 going east off of I-35. It leads to state park. That's exit 24 off I-35. Scenic 77 crosses 77S and become Lodge Road. From I-35 to that intersection is about 2.7 miles or maybe 3.7, I forget. But at that point you will continue straight into the Park. On right will be Park Office. From that point to the drive to floating cabins is 0.03 0.3 miles on left. Zoom in some more. Zoom in a couple more times while still on map and then switch to satellite view. You will see the lodge to right but before that the floating cabins will be in picture. The one in middle, round is the Gazebo. The two tennis courts are to the east of the drive into floating cabins.

So, Lake is south of Ardmore. Go to goole maps and put in Ardmore, Ok. Lake is south of Ardmore. Make sure you choose "map" instead of "satellite." Then, when you see Lake Murray, south of Ardmore, zoom in some and you will see "scenic 77" going east into park. Nothing tricky.

BTW... and FYI..... Feisty Alice is in no way going to play the role of "hostess." Weekend will be "democracy" and "free for all" with every one contributing as for their creativity, abilities, and talents. Masters in any areas are encouraged to appoint themselves "boss(ette)."

What if we have no talent, creativity, abilities or socially redeeming values of any kind... can I still show up?

Wait, if anyone is bringing an ex-wife I'm pretty good at tormenting them... does that count?

I don't think D. Patrick is coming, so sorry to report, but he is fond of bringing ex-wife's current husband along. Does that count?

Just took a shower in your bathroom Kay. OMdoG. Love a good shower. I was covered, and every crack and crevice with powdered perlite. I use that for pool filter instead of DE because it is much safer than DE which is silica. Wind blowing and backwashed three times so had a full dusting all over. Nice to get it out of my bra and panties, belly button, and every where else. It does give fine, dirty hair good texture, though.

Headed out to road, several trips, with recycle and trash, after while, then Wally World trip for bleach..... maybe. May poop out before then..... but more pool work to do tonight and need more bleach.

Everyone bring loads of dollar bills for door prizes. I'm counting on Kaypers to help me organize and we'll pick up tickets at Hobby Lobby and color code for different dollar amount prizes.

Have door prize stuffed box from Nutz but haven't opened yet. Davelog's box arrived last week. Besides other stuff I'm doing some A7s. You don't have to use them..... good to sell and trade. Some A8 tanks, too. They are pretty cool if you like tanks.

Everyone gets a complimentary flashlight and small bottle of hand sanitizer with silicone strap to attach it to things.

Remember to bring bunches of dollar bills. We probably won't know all door prizes till everyone arrives with contributions.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

I am talking to my local B&M to see if they would be willing to donate some raffle material. The manager is on board but has to clear with owner who is a great guy but not always available. It probably won't be much but every little bit helps. I should know tomorrow or thursday.

I have a bit of experience in this arena, since we often solicit donations to our vape meet raffles from vendors. Ask them to tape a business card to every item they donate and point out that by donating to the raffle, they're actually doing ultra-targeted advertising to their specific demographic. Greases the wheels considerably.

I have a wifi range extender that I'm hoping to mount in the loft skylight to hopefully pick up the office weak signal and rebroadcast it for wifi signal in the Gazebo. I just got this setup here to extend my signal from my router and it's working okay. Main problem is I'm having to reboot it a lot. Don't have time to call tech support. It appears it already has latest firmware. I know the antenna that plugs directly into my notebook will pick up the weak signal up the hill in parking lot but haven't tried it in the Gazebo down the hill.

It won't be much hassle to reboot as you just unplug (I'll have extension cord.) it but if it has to be mounted in loft rebooting will have to wait till morning when everyone awake.

Test. Haven't tried to do fast screenshot, stored on new Galaxy Tab yet. If it doesn't work right off no time to mess with. Anyway weatherbug for next few days. It probably won't be much different in Ardmore from here as only about 130 miles north from here.

Shoot won't work......

Standing there alone,
the ship is waiting.
All systems are go.
"Are you sure?"
Rob is not convinced,
but the computer
has the evidence.
No need to abort.
The countdown starts.

Watching in a trance,
the porkies are certain.
Nothing left to chance,
all is working.
Trying to relax
sitting in 1st class
"Send me up a drink."
jokes our Old Broad.
The count goes on...

4, 3, 2, 1
Earth below us
drifting, falling.
Floating weightless
calling, calling home...

Second stage is cut.
We're now in orbit.
Stabilizers up,
runnning perfect.
Starting to collect
requested data.
"What will it affect
when all is done?"
thinks Nana Kay.

Back on ECF,
there is a problem.
"Go to rockets full."
Not responding.
"Hello Nana Kay.
Are you receiving?
Turn the thrusters on.
We're standing by."
There's no reply.

Earth below us
drifting, falling.
Floating weightless
calling, calling home...

Across the stratosphere,
a final message:
"Give the Reonauts my love."
Then nothing more.

Far beneath the ship,
the world is mourning.
They don't realize
she's alive.
No one understands,
but Kaypers sees.
"Now the light commands
Ardmore's my home,
I'm coming home."

Earth below us
drifting, falling.
Floating weightless
coming home...
Earth below us
drifting, falling.
Floating weightless
coming, coming
home...
home.....

Have a safe trip Kay!
