Maybe I just don't like coffee juices?

I love me some coffee- usually unsweetened with cream, either hot or iced. Naturally I'd love to find a coffee juice to vape but so far have gone 0 for 3 in my attempts. Each one gets generally great reviews on here and comes highly recommended but they all have that same day-old/burnt taste to me. First I tried AVE's Christy's Cappuccino, then NLV's Capparillo Cafe, and finally the ever-popular VV's Kona Coffee Milkshake. I love other juices from each of these vendors and the Kona Milkshake I was especially hopeful for but it still has that stale coffee taste to me.

Has anyone else tried any of these juices, thought the same, and come across another juice that they think is better? I'm ready to give up on this flavor for e-juices.

I gave up, too. I think that I like my coffee too much for a vape to be anywhere near the same experience. I think it has to do with being too familiar with what it should taste like to accept an imitation. For example, I'm guessing that someone who drinks a lot of coca-cola would be unable to find a cola flavor that would be enjoyable. When I first started vaping, I tried some Camel type flavors, because that's what I smoked for 15 years, no dice. Heck, I vape a "red bull" flavor and I really like it, but I've never drunk an energy drink in my life, so I had no preconceptions of what it should taste like. jmo

I have tried several different coffee flavors too and have come to the conclusion that maybe coffee flavor is like chocolate flavor -- not so great as a stand alone or main flave, but maybe better in a mix. I dont know if you like banana flavor, but i have some bananas foster coffee with cream from Ms. Ts. Bakery and I really think it is delish!

Thanks for your responses everyone. Unfortunately they confirm what seems like a reality: genuine coffee flavors are difficult (or impossible?) to successfully replicate in e-juices. It does seem to be the same as chocolate flavors like dotma pointed out. As a last ditch effort I might take the suggestions here to try coffee embedded in some other flavor profiles.

Try Volcano Kona Coffee. It's a rich coffee bean flavor (just like the real Kona bean here on the island) with maybe a slight hint of sweet. However it is dark and has a tendency to clog cartos. Yesterday I purchased a saddle valve and put an extra hole in my carto so it wicking much better.

I'm always on the hunt for a lighter color Kona, please share if you happen to find one.

I like black dark-roast coffees, not sweet. And thus I was pleasantly surprised today to taste VapeDudes.com's coffee flavor, which reminds me of actual dark-roast coffee grounds (or, if you've eaten them before, the taste of the espresso beans usually used for chocolate-covered espresso beans). It's not like drinking a cup of joe, more like munching the beans themselves... but I've been very cheerfully vaping it all evening nonetheless. However, I will warn that it might taste burnt to some.

Or you can just make your own. Simply just take your fave coffee and let it air out to dry it like crazy. Then soak in pg for about 2 weeks. filter and enjoy from there. btw, make sure the grounds are just barely covered by the pg. I also found that the best way to "start it off" is to heat the liquid mixture to about 160 every other day to get the oils from the grounds out and flowing. Also shake the mixture every once in a while to help. You also want the grounds to be almost to an espresso powder. The key here is to get the most surface area as possible. i hope that this helps you.

When you start to make the vape juice, start at a small amount of the concentrate and work your way up from there.
