Talking about "triggers": On waking, I used to just reach for a cigarette, then put on the coffee. And the day began...when I ran out of hot coffee, I still had part of a cigarette. When I put my cigarette out, I still had some coffee. It was such a hassle, could never get them to work out even!
Now, a good cup of coffee is the
first thing I think about. My e-cig sort of just falls into an easy place now, no particular rush about it, no particular starting-stopping timetable.
So over time your habits change and reconfigure, just for the simple reason your need to retain some certain level of comfort gradually expands and everything finds it's own level without even thinking about it. Just give yourself time.
I sometimes now have to go look for my PV, I just put it down and move
through my day. It's amazing, since I
never "forgot" where my cigarettes were!! After two months on PV, I could reduce my nicotine from 24mg by 25%, and then later again, and then again very easily, with no further flighty feelings or cravings. The cigarettes are BEAT. I never smoked a single one from Day One.
