I have been vaping since February and everything was great. I had not had a cig since starting to vape. about a month and a half ago I bought some Gentlemans reserve and Olde English Orchard reserve made by The Steam Company and within 2 weeks I could no longer taste ANY of my vapes. I even purposely switched back to the grape I was vaping but to no avail. I drink close to a gallon of water a day but I not been able to taste any of my vapes for well over a month. I have cleaned my tanks, installed new cartomizers with wicks and NOTHING. I have started smoking again because vaping is doing absolutely nothing for me any more. PLEASE HELP ME.

I have even sniffed coffee to reset my olfactory nerve but to no avail.

Drink lots of water!!! I know you said you are, but drink more!!! Here are a couple of other tips that might help:

Taste Buds and Vaper's Tongue

I'm sure others will chime in with what works for them. I often vape unflavored when my taste buds go wonky, then I don't feel so frustrated that I can't taste anything.

I havent been able to smell correctly in years, not sure if its directly related from smoking for 25 years or not. There is very little flavor I can taste or detect when vaping but I love it regardless as it helped me instantly stop smoking around 40 days ago and for that Ill vape unflavored if I have to.

I never had the dreaded no-taste vapors tongue, but I sure had several bouts of eww-that-tastes-awful tongue. I went thru an all out war with my taste buds for about 6 months...they are ornery little critters. I finally settled on unflavored and that has kept me at peace with my buds for nearly a year. I still have some grape and some cherry cigar flavor that I use once a month or so, and they are pretty good in moderation.

I have heard that a menthol or mint flavor can break thru the dreaded vapors tongue, but I was never a menthol user, and menthol infuriates my buds and I can't risk war with them again. If you have a glass tank, you might consider a cinnamon flavor (that always made my buds go berserk). Good luck.

Reading this is sooo scary! I started vaping over a month ago and have been so excited that it's a way that has helped me kick cigarettes. I have bought 8 different flavors so far and switch them frequently because I like variety. Each flavor has their own tank so there is no cross flavoring or mixing of flavors. Anyway, I hope this doesn't happen to me. I have noticed that the 24g nicotine flavors don't have as much flavor as the juice with lower nicotine amounts. Does anyone else find this to be the case?
