The problem with getting 100% VG is it's very thick and will require more shots and a longer steeping time. I typically get 18mg of nic and 50/50 of PG/VG and I mostly always get 2 extras shots, I still have to steep most of them but haven't had any complaints to the quality of the juices so far. I also DIY with concentrated flavors from Lorann's and do anywhere from 50/50 to 65/35% and then still require a steeping time to come into their own.

Moo juice is my ADV too, I chatted with MBV today and they said not to worry it will be back on the site once its back in stock.

As far as the perfumey. I really like the ecto cooler juice from them. I usually use it in boge carto or EVOD. I tried it in smokteck dual coil carto and it was very soapy/perfumey, I counldnt even vape it. So i filled up another EVOD and the perfumey went away.

So I would recommend trying a different delivery system. It might help with the perfumey taste.

You've got a lot of tobacco in that list. Tobacco juices, no matter where they come from, no matter who makes them, and no matter what flavorings are used, absolutely MUST steep. I DIY most of my tobacco juices these days, and I will not even consider touching them until the 4-week mark. Nutty and chocolate flavors get the same treatment. I learned this lesson through trial and error over a period of months, the hard way: Lots of juice down the drain that probably would've turned out well if I'd known what the heck I was doing.

MBV is like any other vendor, they have some stuff that I really like, some stuff that I really hate, and a whole bunch of stuff that I can take or leave. I will admit that I don't care for any of their tobacco juices, although I find their RY4 interesting enough to drip on occasion. I'll also admit that they have a couple juices that are the best among all other vendors' equivalents that I've tried, and easily cheaper to boot.

So let 'em steep. You still might not like them, but at least you'll know for sure!

I think the flavor shots are a must with Mt Baker Vapor. Their juices are more watery than other's I've ordered, but seem to vape fine. But there are so many options, that I'm sure it's a chore to figure out just what works best. Sometimes, less is more... Would rather have them just figure out what amount of flavor is best, and sell that. This adding of flavor makes me wonder just how lacking the standard juice is, as I've tended to read the reviews on flavor's I'm interested in to see what other people are recommending. For me, I'm finding that 2 shots of extra flavor in a 50ml is about right on what I've ordered (1 shot for 30 ml, and 5 shots for the 236 ml).

FYI flavor shots are proportional. There is no need to add more (or less) based on the size of the bottle. Also, they mix their liquids at 10% flavoring, with each additional flavor shot bringing that up 2% (so that 1 flavor shot is equal to 12% flavoring, 2 is 14%, and so on.)

So unlike vendors that taste and perfect a particular juice with a specific ratio of flavoring to PG/VG, you sorta have to figure that out on your own with MBV. That said, I think most of their juices can benefit from a single flavor shot at either the 65/35 or 50/50 ratio. Additional VG I'd go even a bit more than that.

Yeah I really want to try other types of atomizers, specifically the Evod and Vivi Nova in Pyrex. I just hate that there's a lack of uniformity compared to cartomizers. A carto has pretty standard dimensions that fit with most tanks with minor variations. I'm also expecting a couple RDA's in the mail for next week.

Yeah I'd like to stick with high VG in the near future but double shots going forward definitely. After this latest crisis, I was looking at diy too, but decided to put that off too.

Yeah fingers crossed. I was really hoping not that, but a month+ seems like a realistic timeline. And all the signs point to more steeping is needed. I'd settle for bland but vapable at this point. I received another batch today. I smell the same alcohol/acetone smell that I HATE in pear show up in the other fruit flavors (double apple & blueberry). I am very intrigued by 555 menthol. It seems much more like actual tobacco versus the other flavors that try to mimic pipe tobacco with many ambiguous flavors.
