Hey Adee,

Please accept my sincere apology. I know I said I was going to email you some more pics of the Hiduron, but I've not had the chance to do so. Well anyway it sounds like you made up your mind, which is awesome! I am sure you will LOVE the Coldur-A tube!! It's the one metal that Liam offers that I do not own, so I'll have to get a tube soon!!

Congrats buddy!! And enjoy!! I know you will love your new MCR as much as we all love ours! :)

Hey jpcwon how does the brushed Hiduron patina? I'm think that may be the next one on the list though I don't have any Brass either so......

It patinas very nicely! It turns into a nice light pinkish hue...To be honest though I didn't let my 101 SL Brushed Hiduron get too far before polishing it though. Before I polished it I should've taken a "before and after" pic so you could see it! (d'oh!)....next time I will do that for sure! :)

That would be great, my polished Hiduron seems to not patina much if at all, the Coldur-A on the other hand patinas pretty quickly. I'm using the 18500 tube today for the first time and I can see it starting to patina already, which I don't mind as I like the look when it patinas, then I polish everything and enjoy the process again.

Absolutely. One thing I noticed about the brushed Hiduron is that it gets dark spots on it. They almost look like smudge marks. It looks like they're permanent and that there's something wrong with the metal, but then they dissapear when you polish it. I can't describe it. If I see one start to develop I'll send you a pic...

I really like the effect tarnishing has on mods. I like the 'used' look. As a result ive got a ss polished chi you megan that i havent cleaned for a few months apart from wiping e juice off it. (Obviously i clean the contacts, threads etc). I bet there isnt a more grubby looking polished ss mod out there lol

MCR'S usually take 3 days to ship via DHL once you get the tracking info.

Post pics when you get it.

Postman came while the wife was out this morning. She left the house for five mins...FIVE MINS!! Was a recorded delivery so as no one was in the parcel is now languishing in the depot ready for me to pick it up in the morning. Im waiting for 3 things in the post, a kayfun lite plus, my brand spanking new mcr or.....a pack of koh gen do japanese pads.

GOD I HOPE ITS THE MCR!!

My flush SS button get so hot my MCR is almost unusable. I just got it in the mail a week ago. Im having the same problems the OP had. How do you stop the button from getting so hot? I regret purchasing. I wouldnt expect these problems from an authentic mod. my stingray x worked so perfectly I never imagined this new MCR would have problems. becareful ordering if you sub ohm. it looks great but just doesnt perform. button gets stuck all the time and gets extremely hot. another thing i noticed is that not all of my atomizer fit on my hybrid adapter. most of them fit but my 2 favorite ones, hobo v2 and magma, dont fit. everything fits on the flat top cap just not the hybrid adapter.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but MCRs are delivered via DHL if you ordered direct. So likely is not the MCR

Nooooooooo :/

Oh well im off to the post office now. Looks like its going to be the japanese pads then. Still 'a little bit' happy

Sorry to hear about your troubles mate. Have you contacted them? If you read the original post on this thread narobin had a few probs with his but when he contacted mcr they sorted it out. Looks like their customer services is very good. I would suggest you do that and see what they say.

Are you only getting the hot button when using the Hybrid adapter?

I recently got a hot button on my original MCR 101, and I found out that it was due to the pin in the hybrid adapter not making good contact. Once I snugged up the connection between battery and atty (by way of the pin), then the hot button went away....

I would definitely email Liam and let him know. He will likely do whatever it takes to rectify the situation..... I also had my original 101 autofire on me, and I emailed Liam and he sent me out a new Delrin Insulator which resolved the issue.

it gets hot w/ the hybrid adapter and flat top. I emailed mcr, I was talking to patrick he said I need to use a spring but my box didnt come w/ a spring. I asked him how I would go about getting a spring and havent received a reply. that was 3 days ago. I had an issue w/ my hybrid adapter and when I recieved my box it didnt include the flat top that I payed for. They sent me out the missing flat top and a new hybrid adapter which i really appreciated. I really hope theres a fix for the hot button because this mod is useless as it sits.

Are you guys sub ohming?
