I also find that my liquid darkens after it vapes down. I usually refill it at that point and it lightens back up again to the bottle's color. I'm guess most tanks would probably have this issue if you could see it in progress like you can with this one. Glad to know that these are pretty easily cleaned. I've got about 5 old w-mizers that quit producing vapor like they should and I'm curious if a good cleaning will revive them. Since they're not very cheap (I used Boge's in a syringe tank before this), I'd love to find a way to get them working again. I purchased 2 w-mizers from EJM recently, and the first one I've got has something I've never experienced with these. The amount of vapor production is not consistant with anything. Sometimes it produces a lot of vapor, sometimes it produces very little. It's not tasting burnt or anything when it doesn't produce much, so I don't think it's a wicking issue. Tried it on other batteries as well, so I know it's not the batt. I'm thinking maybe the wiring inside isn't done right somehow. I just keep on trucking though, and it eventually starts working again. Very weird though.

Honestly, I have no idea who actually makes the eGo-W. I don't think that it's Joye, as they would have it on their website (and be shouting from the rooftops about how awesome it is). I know that Riva makes the Riva-T, which is functionally like the eGo-W, but the outer housing is securely attached to the clearmizer inside. Atomizer hasn't gone bad yet, so I haven't tried to force it out. Yet....

I noticed some changes in vapor production over a short time so did a little investigative work. After taking apart the tanks on both the EGO-W and RIVA-T it was obvious the designs were nearly identical. In fact the difference were so subtle they could have been chalked up to tiny variations during production. My guess is they came from the same source so there seemed to be no use in comparing one against the other.

Like most designs, the coil seems to be the obvious place to look for signs of trouble. My hunch is that some units have the coil wrapped a bit tighter around the wick. It is so small that it’s nearly impossible to tell, but it could be that a tighter coil tends to pinch the wick more, and therefore causes problems more quickly. Just a guess, but that’s my 2 cents worth.

Well I did some kind of research about ego-w and found that Smoktech, Joytech and vision do not manufacture it... Bauway does!!! And I don´t know if other brand also manufactures that kind of ego. What other brand must I consider? Moreover it seemed satrange that in despite of what ricklovesnic mentioned Bauway do not manufactures Riva...

Since these things come from China anyway, everybody copies everybody else. So no telling who they come from. As for the drip tips, I know that the extra mouth pieces are 801 mouthpieces. So a drip tip for an 801 should work with these. I may be moving to the CE4 plus soon though. I ordered 3 of those from vaporkings and they're slightly cheaper. Hoping they last a bit longer than the w's and don't clog as easy. The w's only seem to be lasting me about 1 - 2 weeks before they clog up.

GIMike are you cleaning your w-mizers every few fills? All of mine are still running except one. I just take the silicone plug out of the top, rinse it in the sink and buzz it in an ultrasoic jewelry cleaner for a few cycles. Works great, but I am moving on to the c8's from gotvapes. The flavor from them is unbeatable.

Actually I haven't tried cleaning them yet. I think I may try boiling a couple of them tonight for a few minutes with the plugs out and then letting them dry for a day or two. Since they're just sitting there anyway, it wouldn't hurt :) I don't have a jewlery cleaner as I never got into the whole dripping thing to need to clean my attys. Since I always used cartos, I never had to clean. Guess I'll have to learn now.
