I know many people who absolutely love PG flavors but I can't imagine vaping that stuff at all. I've even ordered some 60Pg/40Vg (Blueberry Blast, Strawberry-Banana Smoothie) stuff from Altsmoke that I can't stand vaping even though the reviews for those liquids are positive. Is it just me?

The only way I can describe the liquid is extremely harsh, like as in it almost hurts to take a big hit of 18mg liquid. Did I get a bad batch of both liquids or is it simply that some people don't like PG whereas other do, although I can't imagine anyone liking the liquid I have?

Some people are prone to not like PG. Be it that they are allergic or just find it harsh. It is quite common:) There are sites out there that offer alcohol based and food flavor based (oil not PG) or VG based flavorings. It will take searching a bit to discover them. If I come across any that stand out I will post back here. (I have been DIY for a long time now or I would know where to get them right off the top of my head) In short it is you:) but not in a bad way physiologically we are all different and that's a good thing:)

Do a search for 100% VG in the forum and you will finds lots of threads to suppliers and juice recommendations. I vape nothing but VG and have found some great flavors from both Virgin Vapors and Vapor Renu (big difference in price between these vendors, and both are great). I also mix my own.

Thanks for the info guys, I don't know why but the PG just kills me if there is no menthol in the mix. For some reason I can't vape PG liquids without menthol. However, If I vape a 50/50 PG/VG mix from a company such as Rawrvapor, I feel fine, and for previous orders from Altsmoke I had no issues with 50/50pgvg, but I can't stand it now for some odd reason. Thanks

What PV and carto (or whatever) are you using? I had a couple of juices that seemed very harsh, and by either upping the resistance or lowering the voltage, they smoothed out quit a bit with minimal loss of flavor. YMMV

Ctor, I'm using a LR atomizer on a 3.7 volt vaporizer, I don't have cartos and don't really like the cartos, but I do have higher resistance atomizers. Does it taste less harsh with the same amount or just weaker?

Try the higher resistance atomizers on the harsher juices. It's worth a try. It might taste a little weaker to you, you won't know until you try, but it should be less harsh.

Also, I think some flavorings themselves (not the PG or VG) will start to burn and become harsh at lower temps than others, without necessarily making the juice taste burnt, but it irritates the throat and lungs. Just a theory based on my limited experience

I'm liking RawrVapor's stuff, 50/50 mixes are no issue whatsoever; maybe altsmoke is using a highly diluted nicotine that is dissolved in PG, making the PG actually larger than it normally is?

Thanks for the advice Ctor, but I gave the liquid to some of my vaping buddies, doesn't work for me unfortunately. It's weird though because Blueberry Blast used to be one of my favorites from Altsmoke but I can't stand the new one (I have no clue if they changed the formula or if it's just me) for some reason.
