Evening forum, hope everyone is having a good Friday!

I've been messing around with my Private V2 clone and Trident I received today. Been having a couple issues I was hoping someone on here more knowledgeable than I could shed some light on.

Long story short I got everything up....but nothing. Literally nothing. No vape, no hiss, not even a little pop. I immediately go into debug mode. I whip out my trusty multimeter and check my freshly charged battery - 4.19V. Awesome! I assemble the Private V2 without anything attached and check the voltage on the pin - 0.00V. I press the button - 4.15V. Awesome!

So now I took my IGO-W which I'd been vaping on and put it on the V2. Nothing. So I remove the top of the V2 where the pin is and screw on the IGO-W again. I check the resistance between the bottom of the pin (the part that touches the battery) and one of the negative posts in the IGO-W - 1.9 ohms. Awesome, exactly what it was on the SVD.

So now that I know the pin is connecting with the rda, I reassemble the V2 and test fire - nothing. Any ideas?

Summary:
* V2 pin shows 4.15V - so I've got power.
* From bottom of the pin to a negative post in the rda shows 1.9 ohms - so the pin is touching the RDA.
* Everything seems to work by itself but when assembled - nothing.

Check to see if your screws on the atty are tight, that's the problem 99% of the time for me.

Screws are indeed tight. Also the IGO works fine on my SVD. I can't test the Trident on my SVD since it has a 0.7 ohm coil, but the IGO with a 1.9 ohm coil works fine on the SVD but I get nothing on the V2

likely the positive terminal isn't making contact (center pin).. or atleast that'd be my guess.

I checked that via the resistance from the bottom of the V2 pin to the negative terminal of the IGO-W. Also if I look at the bottom of the Trident I can see scuff marks from where the brass contacted the pin. Can't really see on the IGO-W since it's pin doesn't really scuff (it's not brass, looks like silver plated or aluminum, not sure).

Still fiddling around but no luck so far.

Gotcha and you are making sense. It's not making contact somewhere else.

Are you sure that 1.9 ohm isn't the resistance of the meter itself?

Yup. When I touch the leads together it's 0.0 ohms.

i would try taking the switch apart and give it a good clean and noalox or no-ox-id the parts and reassemble, you may want to do the same with the rest of it too
