So I've been vaping now for almost 5 months. I own 4 different regulated mods, many sub ohm tanks and a few rda's. I'm wanting to pick up a mech mod, but not sure which would be better. I'm pretty much looking at either the nemesis clone or the stingray x clone. Any thoughts on which is better, or any other mechs that I may want to look into?

Many people like and rave about those two mods,I have both and the are good, depending on the manuf. I like the Infinite clones. However out of the 20 clones I have purchased over the last couple years my favorite is the sentinel m16, never needs adjusting or spring modifications or fiddling with, it just works every time. Also, I just purchased the Super T ELM and also the Infinite clone from Fastec and its pretty solid. Worked right out of the box just like the OEM. Maybe thats why Super T is not Doing so well. So you might think about that one too. Anyway good luck.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the stingray x come with the 510 top cap as well as the hybrid top cap? I have no interest in using a hybrid. So if not I can scratch that off my list
Yes it does, but you dont have to use it, it also comes with a 510, I just dont like the way most mods you have to make amodification to get it where you like.I am a mechanich, so its not that difficutl usually, but I think if Im paying for something it should at least work as is. Just my opinion, and Im sticking with it .

Every Stingray X I have seen does come with a 510 top cap and a hybrid top cap.

Regarding the Nemesis, the one I have came with a spring (vs magnets) and it's a PITA to take apart (and put back together) due to that little "rice pin".

I am a "one handed" vaper and have no "fine tune dexterity/strength" in one of my hands so that plays a large part in dealing my Nemesis.

Get yourself a Reo and your search for the ultimate vape will be over.

There are many different styles to chose from. Still have a new woodvil in the box there. The wife says I have to wait until fathers day to open that one. Ugh!!

Here`s another suggestion for the M16 Sentinel. It was my first mod and has served me well. It has none of the issue the Nemmi or the X may or will have, such as the rice pin, the wonky button on both. My M16 works so well it is my mod of choice for my low ohm builds. You can also look at the Panzer, built like a tank and if you buy a quality clone, like Ehpro, or Hcigar, there will be zero issues. It just works.

FWIW, my FT brass nemmy clone has been a real workhorse for the last 18 months. For a year it was my one and only, and for the last 6 months, I've used it daily alongside its sister (a SMPL clone).

The brass patinas up pretty fast - I mirror polished it this past weekend, and already it could use some lovin, but aside from that, it's a dream.

If you do decide to use a "hybrid style" connecter, bake sure your atty has an adjustable positive post.

Whichever you go with - look in to Fat Daddy Vapes and see if they have an upgrade kit for your model - excellent products that help a good mod be great.

Susan - I know you finally jumped on the Reo bandwagon awhile back.... were you able to grab a new woodvil when they went on sale a few weeks ago?

I considered joining all the fun and getting another Woodvil but with already owning 4 of them I elected to pass and give someone who has fewer than me (or doesn't yet own even one) a chance to get one of these rare beauties.

Which one did you order?:)

I have bought two Silver Bullets from AltSmoke. I gave my white one to my son, and I'm still using my black silver-vein SB. Last year I worked in a large vape shop where I was exposed to a wide variety of mods. I never felt the need to "upgrade" to anything other than my Silver Bullet.

I like that it is so lightweight. It is made from aircraft-grade aluminum. The body is finely crafted with very smooth threads. The recessed side fire button is very natural and won't autofire in a pocket. It is made by Chad in Ohio, so should it ever need repair, you just return it to AltSmoke. It comes in several different colors, and you have the option to buy a battery extension sleeve if you want to use a Kick. It's only $85.
