I've been looking into mech mods recently and I keep going back and forth on which I want. First was the Le Petit Gros but I really want something I can use my 18650's on. Then I was looking at the lancelot but I just can't commit.
I know I want a clone mainly because of the price stand point, being my first mech I don't want to invest too much until I'm sure I'll like it. Call it shallow but the aesthetics are a big stand point as well lol. I want something pretty, a tiffany blue or white preferably.
I use a plume veil rda, mephisto rda, and occasionally an Atlantis.
Any suggestions?

I don't have a suggestion in the colors that you want, but I'm VERY happy with my copper SMPL clone. It ran me about $30 at my local B&M but you can find them cheaper online. I have a VTC5 (my last one!) and 25Rs because I sub ohm, and I use a Mutation X V2, great hits.

Only thing is, you can't use an Atlantis on it and I'm not sure if you can use them on a mech mod safely. The Atlantis will dent in the top of your battery and can cause some serious issues, and I don't know of any kind of work around.

One thought to consider is the finish if your going for a certain color mod. I have several nemesis's I accuired from a friend. The ss works flawlessly as far as the button. The black one I have is not the smoothest in the button because of the paint. It creates a thicker spot for the button to contact when firing, can be stuck firing if you're not careful. That being said I'd strongly consider an anodized blue rather then a paint. Love my nems but more threaded parts = more to wear out. One of them can only be used with an 18490 now because the extension piece for 18650 became somewhat ovalized after alot of use. Its an authentic so its a mechanical issue of moving parts and not just poor machining.

I also have a smpl copper clone on the way and it appeals to me because of the little amount of threaded with parts. Its a tube and a button. As stated before you need to be careful with hybrid tubes and your attys pin length. Also with firing with no Atty on a mod such as the smpl can create a dead short. For the strength of minimal parts you should look into a mod like the smpl and use caution to your setups (as you always should), and enjoy a small, strong, low voltage drop mod. Vape on
