Don't confuse luck with knowledge and then pass it on to people who don't know any better and may take your word

Could you point me to reliable evidence to show this "knowledge" of yours is factually correct?

The VTC5 uses one of the safest chemistries of all the 18650s available to us. The whole deal also depends on how long you pull and how long you wait between pulls as well as the battery temperature. Those who claim it's not safe to go above the CDR are just touting their own personal opinion as fact. I use the VTC5A instead of the VTC5, and I vape on a single battery mech at .1 ohms pretty much all the time.

It is never safe to exceed the maximum CDR of a battery. Never. Do not advise individuals otherwise.
