Mech. Recommendation.

A friend of mine wants to purchase his first mechanical mod, but the problem is he has a $60 budget. The only mod I could think was the Kamry K100, anybody know if the k100 have cooper contact pins? Or is there a better mechanical mod around his budget range?

Hmm... budget mech recommendations is tough... is your friend planning on running super low ohm coils? If so, nothing out there but if not super low, just about anything is good. I would recommend the natural. The beat thing is to find one with solid contacts without springs.

What battery size is he looking for? What will he be matching it with?
Does he need a full kit with batteries and charger?
What is he using now?

I'm guessing he wants something similar to what I have which is a Titan v1.5, I'm guessing he wants a telescoping mod.

i say a natural also. The new sigelei mechs look nice too though. I dont know what the contacts are made of or anything about them though.

The K100 is chrome plated brass, it works pretty well out of the box but if you want brass contacts you do need to sand them a bit.
