I really want to get a Mechanical Box mod, dual or single 18650. It will probably be the Reo Grand because I have wanted one for about a year. But it made me curious. Can people list any mech box mods that they are aware of other than the Kato or Reo. Just curious what all is out there nowadays. I have no interest in VV or VW, just a mechanical box mod. Thank you in advance for any responses. Even though I am sure I will get a Reo Grand, I was just curious if there were other mods out there that are similar.

The Jigsaw V2 Box Mod is nice. Hit's hard and clean solid copper wiring inside.

Seems like something was lost in the translation here. The OP did specify...."MECHANICAL".... If it has wires, its not mechanical....

As the OP has already figured out the REO Grand is the way to go here. Arguably the best "MECHANICAL" box mod device on the market today, hands down... Even has juice on demand onboard already... What could be more perfect...

Agreed. I really want a Reo Grand so that is what I will get :) There are a lot of fine variable devices out there but I just have no interest in that. I prefer simplicity. I own an SVD which I use solely to check how much power I have left on my batts. I had a ProVari which I ended up selling. I just like mechanicals.

That's the same sentiment I've used generically to differentiate mechs from APVs but I wonder, since a Reoville has a wire but is otherwise the same as a REO does that mean the Reoville is not a mech?

I am assuming you are talking about a Woodvil here? If that is so, then the answer would be no, Woodvils aren't mechanical as they have a wired switch. Although Rob is coming out with a mechanical Woodvil later this year or beginning of next year. The REO Grands and 18490 Mini's are mechanical devices and have no wires in them at all....
