Hello everyone, after so-much trouble with ego-c kit I bought AGA-T2 rebuild-able atomizer and now I am very satisfied, clean flavor taste and amazing clouds of vapor. I was using ego-c battery with it and today I bought smok The-Natural mechanical mod with chemically safe batteries here is the link: https://www.canvape.com/product-p/imr18650.htm Is it safe to use it in mechanical mod? Or should I get protected batteries? (I do not have kick or penny fuse) The sales man at the market did not have protected batteries and said that I shouldn't have any problems with these. But I am having second thoughts.

Hi Romann, The Imr batteries are though to be as safe or safer than protected batteries. Their chemistry is less volatile than a standsrd Lithium battery. With that said, after you build your coil always meter your device at the 510 connector to verify there is no dead short, Safety First...... The Imr batteries are what is normally recommended for mech mods. Just be safe about it and you should be good to go.

Efest are a respectable battery brand, along with AW and Panasonic.

I'll also agree that IMR batteries, being a safer chemistry, are better than the protected, more volatile Li-Ion batteries. Having a multimeter available to check your 'resistance on a RBA is a must. Meters . A penny fuse or vape safe is probably a wise investment Batteries : Vape Safe Mod Fuse 2 .
