What do you consider decent build quality? I have a KTS and love it although I prefer my K100. Both are inexpensive, work very well and will probably last me for years. Both have surface finishes that will wear off over time and I will probably end up polishing them when the time comes. Both have survived 3 months with me now with no issues whatsoever including surface wear. YMMV.
I prefer the Sigelei (Vapor Tek, many others) to the K100 (fastech, many others) That being said, a K100/101 is a solid buy for less than $25. and a good place to start.

Quality is good. It has good threads and the finish is nice. Gold parts will dull and become silver after a wile, but can be polished easily. I sanded mine down to brass.
For, 20 bucks you can't go wrong.

The difference is almost 30 dollars... I´m not sure if the one you saw at 50 bucks has better quality or not, but I own the fasttech one and it works fine and looks nice. I´d rather spend 20 on the mod and the other 30 on atties, than 50 on the mod alone.

Very well built always in stalk durable mod I highly recommend this for a first mechanical mod. If you looking for higher end quality But Id say its on the low of the high end price range;-)
