If I get a 510 mega battery could I use a LR atty? I heard standard 510 bats aren't powerful enough for them. Also, What is the mega atty?

A 510 LR atty or LR cartomizer works on the mega batt - ie. it fits. It isn't recommended by some people that sell them (manufacturers) because they will use more current and thereby decreasing the battery life and the regular batts and the mega batts will take a bigger hit in battery life than the ego battery, but, they work Great! on mega batts and I use them all the time on them.

Most 'blurbs' on LR attys say not to use it with batteries under 440mAh.

280mAh - for the mega (or some call it 'extended', etc.) battery. But again, there are many that use the LR attys on them and they work well together.
