My storie hmm well i tried to stop smoking for along time and just kept going back i was told about ecigs/vaping from a friend who got one at the mall so i got my first started kit for 7$ i think and it was not for me at all so i went back to cigs untill my wife got pregnant (one of the greatest days of my life!) so i found this website and ordered a different kit it was ok but i still couldn't do it at this point i smoked at work and chewed nic gum at home i lurked the forums learning from all the great people here and started making my own modstrying to save money for ye baby to come i couldn't buy a nice mod but they day i held my little girl for the first time i was done(this is the greatest day of my life) and she will be 2 in December so that is my story and this is her at her first birthday and i was smoke free for it
I started smoking at the age of 14; I am now 24 and have been smoke free since my first ecig.I Work as a Respiratory Therapist. In this field I mostly treat people who have damaged their lungs from smoking. Its not common for me to instruct patients on the importance of quitting cigarettes. But it was of my patient who helped me to quit. As I gave this one (very well known to me and the hospital) patient a breathing treatment we were shooting the breeze, she removed the nebulizer from her mouth exhaled her Albuterol and took a puff off an ecig.
. then asked if it was ok,
. I was like..uumm.. Well yeah (not knowing much about ecigs at the moment, but I knew it was better than a real cig). Later that day I was thinking if this old lady in respiratory failure who was a life long smoker could quit with an e cig so could I. my order was placed and I am 22 days smoke free enjoying my Volt!
I just wanted to say it has been a pleasure reading everyones stories here and it's great to see how much vaping has helped change peoples lives!
