I came across a deal for 3 of these kits for $80 while looking to buy bulk carto's. I'm wondering how the quality is atleast 2 if not all 3 would be gifts so I'd rather they not crap out after a week.
if you're talking about the ones from a certain **.cn company, dunno. I saw that and wondered too. There are a ton of knock offs, and it seems every manufacturer and even the Chinese distributors are making their own Vgo versions. I'd stick to looking at the manufacturer sites first. Boge, Bauway, Royalsmoker, Hello, Janty Joye, Smoore, they all have large mAh models.
Yeah that would be the one I was looking at. Was set to order carto's then I found out shipping would cost me $33... If it wasnt for the fact I wanted the carto's I'd just get some Riva's from a domestic supplier but the Vgo's would help me justify the shipping costs to myself.
Just be wary, lots of folks are complaining about getting the wrong CE2s from that site. Order CE2-rev4 and get rev 2 or 3. Then of course they're non-returnable for 'sanitary reasons', even if they're the wrong things.

I recently bought the 1300 ego kit made by Bauway and one of the batts was DOA but the other one works great and I got 18 hours of heavy vaping with a standard Atty. I sent the bad one back and they are supposed to replace it.
Bert, where do you get that Boge and Bauway are the same? Each offer totally different units. Bauway's biggest seller is the BW-155 series, whereas Boge's biggest sellers are the JKY pen series. Both Boge and Bauway have new units out and they are completely different. I'm not talking just different names, rather completely different, unique units.
For starters the eGo and Tornado aren't clones, the others are. Wrt 3.7V vice 3.2V from all JoyE devices, that is indeed very subjective. Check this out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ego-variable-voltage-switching-regulator.html I found very little if any difference using the eGo style of vaping (with cone) at 3.7V compared to the 3.2V original.
I have a RS mega Vgo that I bought from a member. They claim it's 3.7 under load but it remains to be tested. I'd like to get it tested before long.
As for the unit itself, I'm liking it so far. One battery has an 'led' cover that's loose but doesn't fall out. The button has some dead spots in it occasionally but works. I notice a slight drop off after about 10 hours or so but not bad. I"m sure as it gets older that window will close some.
As 'jackal' mentioned, there are a lot of knock offs of this (any) model. This one has a blue 'led' on the tip not the button.
