Well I got a pocket cam (Sony Bloggie MHS-CM5) and wanted to start doing video reviews of juices on Youtube. Discovered that if my room wasn't lit like a hospital room I got a very grainy image. So I went to youtube and started watching vlogs and wondered, how are these peeps getting such clear videos with webcams? So I bought a logitech C615. Well, great image, I got HD, but the frame rate with the logitech software is stuck at 15fps (who the hell wants 15fps for recorded video?) and I need third party software to get 30 fps HD. So I checked out 3rd party software and it seems my PC is too bloody old to make 720p 30fps work well enough. Best I can get is a solid 640x360 widescreen 30fps non-HD. Now, my macbook is much more powerful but for some odd reason there's really no software for Mac that will record a webcam at 720p 30fps.
So, I either gotta go back to the camcorder and get my room lit up megawatt style or I go 640x360 via webcam. Anyone have any advice?
