Melo 2

Just want to know if anyone has used the Melo2 and if it's worth the $28 I'm thinking of buying it for.
I'm running a Melo with the stock 0.5 ohm coils right now on a istick 50w. It's hitting great at 25-30w but the air flow is a bit limited and the bottom fill kind of sucks.
How is the air on Melo2?

Yes I have one. I used it for a few days. It's not a bad tank, but not a great tank either. The Tobeco super tank blows it away and it can be found cheaper and can use atlantis and triton coils.

Not worth the money.
I got one with an Eleaf 60w. I kept thinking the Elaf 60w sucked,until I tried it with my Crown tank. The difference was night and day. The mod is fine it was the Melo 2 that sucked.
I haven't tried it with triton coils yet, will tomorrow hoping that it performs better that stock oem coils.

You probably should. It's easy to say a tank sucks when in reality it's just some rubbish coil heads.

+ this must be the easiest top fill there is, very convenient
+ holds a nice amount of juice, considering it's rather short nature
+ works with a lot of different coil heads: Atlantis Coils That Work in Other Tanks
+ base screws into the chimney, not the coil head (unlike Melo 1, Atlantis)

- the glasses top o-ring is big and textured, this attracts flavor to burn in.
- silicone to seal off the the chimney from the coil heads is directly in the passage of hot vapor.
- The main parts are NOT made of SS. Only the covering is. The rest is most likely chrome plated brass.


Verdict: I would rather rate it high, but advertising SS when it's not is a no go. Shame on you Eleaf!
