I think I've read and watched all posts "how to" make the best of 510 and 901 (and precisely followed instructions) , but none worked for me (don't ask me why:confused:). First-I couldn't get rid of that off-taste with poly, blue foam, scotch brite or any other filler except PTB. Second-my cartos melted no matter how I aligned them to the atty when I pressed the switch for longer than 2-3 sec. So finally I came up with this.
901.jpg

901-1.jpg

It delivers tons of vapor, throat hit and no melting. I used 901 because I only had to cut 1 (flat) side. Not sure if I had to cut it that far though.
Now is the problem: I use a stripe of PTB to cover the cut and, of course, it leaks through. Can anyone suggest an easy-to-get thin non (or less)-porous temperature resistant material for this purpose?
I will greatly appreciate any suggestions of "how to make it better" or "why it will not work"
If it matters, I use 5V mod.
Thank you!

I've had same experience with 510, except both flat sides melted

Align/mirror the cart wide sides and flat sides with the identical WHITE image in the atty. This worked for me. I have had none melt. This causes the button to be funny on different batteries, but I deal...
