Ok, like lots of people, I had my doubts about this kind of thing, but now I've first hand experience, I see it's problematic.
Here's a pic of a Clear smok Tech 1.5 Ohm Dual Coil XL Cartomizer - (so not a cheapy one...)

This cart was filled 3 weeks ago, and I've topped it up 2-3 times. As you can see, the bottom part of the tube, where it meets the connector is cracked. (it's now actually loose) It's not a "be careful with the carts" issue - it's been stood on my desk doing not a lot. I take care of my bits :)

What's your thoughts?

I used the Smok dual coil clear cartos several months back and I experienced them cracking around the base like you have pictured. I also had issues with juice seeping out around the crack where the tube meets the connector before it was cracked. It could really be a number of things. Sometimes, your juice cracks them. I'm not sure if the heat from the coils would cause the cracking, but it could happen. Either way, I tend to steer "clear" from them. Bottom line is the plastic that they use on these is too brittle. It's a cool idea and they do last for a little while, but I always found myself replacing one before it lost flavor and became clogged simply because the tube was not holding up.

Yeah... I thought I'd just try a pack, so I could see exactly how a carto fills... (I do mean exactly - carto's don't fill as evenly as some people may think). The other 4 cartos are fine, showing no cracking. There's no odd flavour, as in no chemical-plastic melting type flavour. Hmm....

Do I regret buying the clear over the steel version? Nah! Clear do look much cooler :)
