Membership levels

I see that people have different levels of membership. What are the levels and how are they obtained?

It's just how many posts you have. You will be a veteran after 1 year. It goes up pretty fast if you are really obsessed with finding out about all things vaping LOL

0-9 posts - Member
10-149 - Full Member
150-299 - Senior Member
300-999 - Super Member
1000-2999 - Ultra Member
3000-9999 - PV Master
10000 - 19999 ECF Guru
20000 - 29999 Double Guru
30000 - 39999 Triple Guru
40000 - 49999 Quad Guru
50000 - ? Ascended to a Higher Plane

Is what someone said there. I don't know about the other titles though.

Why does it matter what it says below your username? You can just make bull.... replies all day, know nothing and have it seem like you do because of a certain title. It means nothing.

Just like any other forum, post count doesn't mean much. Titles are just an extra perk that come with most every forum out there.

Actually there are two posts with the same title. The link from above has the membership designations in it, and is a sticky in the " Site Feedback And Help" forum.
The other one is a sticky and is in the "New Members" forum. It would be nice if someone who has the power would add the membership designation info to the sticky in New Members.

EDIT: Sorry, I made a mistake, the post titles are not the same, but they are both about how many posts are needed for this or that. I still think it would be a good idea to have the membership designations in both posts. It would make it easier to find for newbies.

Lurkers don't usually get high post counts. If you're a forum to discuss something you're passionate about, your post count will rise naturally. Lurking for information is another story. Just get the info and news you need and you're good. Maybe post to ask a question not answered in the forum itself. Again, in the end, post count means nothing.
