Menthol Heaven

So I've been vaping since December and I definitely think the menthols are my favorite flavor. For statistics purposes, I am one of those people who used to smoke menthols and LOVE the menthol flavors, which places me in the minority from what I have heard.

Sadly, I have been menthol-starved for a while. Two orders ago, I accidentally bought Dunhill instead of Dunhill Menthol (it was late and I was tired ). Last order, I ordered Kamel Menthol (30ml) and V4L sent me Kamel instead. I contacted customer support last Tuesday night about the problem and got the correct fluid in the mail today. Not exactly lightning fast shipping, but considering I didn't have to return the incorrect flavor...

Anyway, I just wanted to give a BIG thanks to V4L customer service...I'm in menthol heaven right now. Kamel Menthol is excellent, probably the best I've tried. A friend of mine recommended it, so I thought I would give it a try. I'm glad I did.

On an entirely separate note, the soft-cap premiums are genius! They produce a lot of vapor and the caps are super easy to remove (even though the hard-caps were never exactly difficult). Also, one thing that I have found is that I haven't come across a single tobacco flavor that I have liked since I started vaping. Who are our tobacco lovers around here and what is your favorite flavor?

Is the kamel menths good blend of tobacco and menthol? What about the dunhall menthol?

I like the smilin, but am trying to get a smoky menthol. I was a salem lights smoker if that helps.

So Far I have tried and loved the 555 & Ry4, Didn't like the Cowboy, and the Kant is a so-so in my book atm (of course, that could change to an "I Love It" as tastebuds continue to change)

Menthols-Dunhill menthol is a favorite, Also like the Sampler #1 with the Cools and Nuports. Smilin is my absolute favorite methol. Parliament was too tobacco strong, but I thought the kamel was also...you may like it!

I was a non-menthol smoker, and I am loving the menthols...I have decided 555, Ry4, Smilin and Dunhill menthol are my must-haves.
(not necessarily in that order, depends on the day)

Go try the fruits too, peach is to die for, as is Cherries Jubilee...there are so many good flavors, blows my mind!

I was a menthol smoker on and off love camel crush but with vaping menthol is it for me the be all end all I have dunhill and kamel that I just not so big on it reminds me of when you would get tobacco on your lips from a cig kinda spicy I tried some fruit ones and they are way good but could not vap them for a long time and thanks to v4l freebies I have 2 flavors that I will never ever order I think I will boil them and make them menthol

I never had the opportunity to try Dunhall Menthol. I accidentally ordered Dunhall. I can't taste tobacco flavor in any of the menthol flavors I have tried (cowboy, nuport, regular menthol, smilin, kamel). I'm not a big fan of tobacco flavors so I think it's for the best

I've tried Watermelon, Cherry, and Peach fruit flavors (maybe others I can't remember?). They were all really good. Nothing compares to the refreshing taste of menthol, though IMO.

I haven't tried RY4 or 555...maybe I should.

I got Smilin Menthol in VG as a freebie...wasn't that impressed. Probably has a great deal to do with the fact that it was VG and not PG. I'll also have to try Dunhall Menthol...but that will probably have to be sometime later down the road...I really didn't like the regular Dunhall flavor

But surprisingly enough I love Virginia Menthol and Smilin Menthol.
I trade off with 555 as I'm one of the people who can't taste a flavor as well if I vape it too often.

I think that's what makes menthol a great all day vape...it's kind of hard not to taste it even after hours and hours of vaping. It gives your mouth that cool feeling every time.

What exactly does 555 taste like? I know RY4 is supposed to have a caramel-y taste...I need to try both.

I vape about 2 cartos a day, and one has to be menth. I just buy the prem samplers and move between the flavs each week. I enjoy the shifting taste. But yeah, Kamel's great, as is Dunhall. And Virg. And plain Menth. And Smilin although it's more light-minty to me. The only flav that's just okay for me is the Parly menth. That darned blue Parly base has always seemed off to me.

I just tried Viking Vapor's Watermelon Menthol: tastes like a watermelon jellybelly with a MH (mouth hit) of menthol and a smoky aftertaste. Pretty good! (12mg)
I think I prefer the Smilin Special Menthol 5ml with 1 drop of DIYFlavorShack Menthol Drops added to it for the menthol ziiinnnngg, but the Watermelon is nice change (not a full day vape, in other words: more like an after-dinner jelly bean!).

That's pretty ironic, because the first carto I filled with Kamel Menthol was an empty premium Watermelon carto that had's been rinsed/boiled. It was a pretty good taste!

I'll have to try Virginia. It's my goal to taste all of the menthol carts. I think I've had about half.

I'd have to agree with Born on the discription of 555, but even then it's a pleasent taste not what you would expect.

I am right there with you, mjhasbach...Kamel Menthol is terrific. Now, for a real blast, try Virginia Menthol. I'm also crazy for that one as my new fave with Kamel in 2nd place. Menthol Heaven is RIGHT!

Try 555. I think you'll like it for the tobacco tinge.

Has anyone tried both PG and VG Smilin Menthol? I got the VG as a freebie and wasn't that impressed, but everyone raves about it. If there's a significant flavor difference between the PG and VG varieties, I'll give the PG a shot.

The prem Menthol is one that's really surprised me. It sounds so boring, but it has a touch of citrus sweetness that's really nice. I've been vaping it all day and thinking of what a great mainstay it could be. Nice to drop the tobac blend for a while and just go with the minty freshness. Major Yum.

Have you tasted the regular menthol? If so how does it compare to the premium menthol? I've had regular but not premium.

In general, do you notice a great difference in flavor when using the premium juices?

I love the menthols so much. I too get the sample packs so I can change out between all the flavors. Today I was vaping Blueberry and put some Dunhall juice in it. I love it!!

As I mentioned a few posts ago, I filled an empty Premium Watermelon carto with Kamel Menthol and it produced a nice taste.

The idea of mixing menthol and fruit flavors sounds like a great idea, I'll have to settle on a fruit flavor and try it!
