Very true :( Sorry guys ...

Anyways ... back on topic! I got some menthol crystals finally from a very gracious forum member !!! gonna give them a whirl tonight.

I am thinking of starting with 2 crystals in a 15ml bottle menthol liquid... Good start ? Or would you guys suggest more/less ??? :)

Good start as long as the crystals are not too large. Luckily you have plenty of liquid around to thin it out if it gets too strong.

I heated mine in the microwave last time. 20 seconds was too long for 10ml. It melted the bottle. The next (with a new bottle) time I heated it for 5 seconds, shook it, and heated it for 5 more seconds. That was about right. Your cooking times may vary but I recommend going in 5 second intervals. It only needs to be warm not real hot. Good luck. Looking forward to your outcome.

Hey Teresa,

I said batteries come fully charged? I apologize if I did. batteries do not come fully charged, only tested. That's why I include a note with orders asking the user to please make sure to fully charge for an initial 12 hours!

Carts will eventually get kind of gunky. If you are the type to be proactive and want to try and get as much use out of them as possible, and don't mind getting your hands dirty, you can simply just pull the cartridge filling from the cartridges and rinse them. Dry them off, soak in ejuice, and stick back in! :thumb:

NO, I'm sorry Steve (and all) I left out the word NOT! He said they do NOT come fully charged. You said all of what's in the above quote.

ON TOPIC: Being a former menthol cig smoker, I too would like to see a strong/er menthol cart. dont know what these mentol crystals are, but would like to find out. Let us know Steve, on how that works out!

P.S. My Mini is now performing splendidly with a fully (14 hour) charged battery. Woo Hoo!!!

I'm still new to esmoking/vaping (only been about 10 days) and I just got some menthol crystals. After reading some of the posts, I mixed 2 small menthol crystals with 10ml of glycerine that had been sitting in warm water.

MENTHOL CRYSTALS ARE STRONG!!!!

It smelled like Vicks Vapor Rub... I added a little more of glycerine - still stong... I then mixed that mixture with some 36mg (way too much nic for me) menthol ejuice. I've been smoking that mixture for about 2 days now and I'm happy with the mixture - It has that strong menthol/mint flavor that I like (I used to smoke Kools)

I just opened the container I used to store the extra menthol crystal/glycerine mixture I had left over and it STILL smells like Vicks... (I better go read the posts again - Maybe I didnt dilute the crystals enough...) I think I'm going to try mixing it with the "Like Smoke" nic juice I have - Maybe it'll be more like an actual menthol cig...

If anyone wants a sample of menthol crystals pm me - (I might charge $1-$2 - for the envelope/baggie/postage- but a little goes a LONG way)

Told ya they were strong. Since you smoke Kools (I do too) try some of Puresmoker.com's premium menthol flavor. It has just a dash of real menthol and tastes about as close as you can get to Kool milds. I actually prefer it over the real cig as it has a dash of spearmint flavor.

Best menthol experience I have had so far is mixing 2 parts Marlboro Fierce 36 from Puresmoker with 1 part Abandon Mint from E-cig sales. I could smoke that all day . . . and I have. I've also mixed 2 parts of 555 from E-cig sales and 1 part of the Abandon Mint and that is okay. However, there is nothing I can do to help the Johnson Creek Original. I just a bottle of that and I'm stuck with it. I just can't find any flavor in it.

Agreed! I was very underwhelmed by the JC Artic Mint too - it's more global warming than ice cold!

Though I didn't smoke them exclusivley, I liked Marlbro Menthol cigs (the high tar/nic version) and have found that Totally Wicked menthol cut with some glycerin (to thicken the vapor and dilute the 36mg nic!) tastes very similar to M.M.

I'd like the menthol sensation of T.W. but with a more spear mint like flavour...time to start experimenting:thumb:

I feel the need to retract my dis of Johnson creek original. I switched atomizers and now that I've had a chance to puff it for a few days I've grown rather fond of it. It has almost a kind of caramel aftertaste that I like quite a bit. Particularly when I occasionally add a taste of Abandon Mint.

I think the main problem with these atomizers is that their fine wiring gets fried very easily and that changes the whole equation. I'm going to see how long I can get one of them to work if I never let the thing get too hot.

Ah, the joys of being an early adopter. I long for the day when they built a gadget that holds 5mg or more of juice in a container right inside the e-cig and you can drip by hitting a button or something. They you'd be free of constantly fiddling with these little vials.

I've been smoking Cash's premium menthol for about a week now and Im really happy with it. But I was wondering - does anyone know how it compares to Jane's Abandon Mint (taste and vapor production)?

I love both of them! Cash's is more to me like menthol than Jane's which is more like mint. Cash's ranks #1 and Jane's ranks #2 for me.

I just got my order of Jane's Abandon Mint/Menthol. I can't tell the difference between Jane's juice and Cash's juice. (I think they also smell the same) It must be me. I like them both, I guess it will depend on what other liquids I need to order

Hi all

Just got my Menthol Crystals in this morning

Has any of you Juice Scientists got a perfect system for making a nice

menthol Juice ?

any advice would be great before I burn a hole in my lungs

Cheers :)

heat the juice in the microwave 5 to 10 seconds. It doesn't have to be hot, just warm as the menthol disolves at 100 degrees. Add one small to medium size crystal for every 5ml of juice shake, vape, add more as needed. A little goes a long way with this stuff.

Update to my earlier post.

After all the rave's about Totally Wicked eliquid I finally bought 30ml each of TW's Menthol/Mint and Spearmint (I love spearmint gum/candy). SOMETHING MUST BE WRONG WITH ME or atleast my tastebuds (and I thought my sense of taste and smell had greatly improved after quitting analogs)

TW's flavor is not quite as strong as Jane's or Cash's. TW's menthol/mint taste is lighter. and spearmint is light also, not what I was expecting (nothing like the candy/gum that I love). They're both vapable/smokable just not what I was expecting.

Next time I order a bottle of Jane's kick juice I might try doing a blind taste test of the 3 different brands. Fill 3 new carts with the different brands, have 3 identical ecigs and see if I can tell the difference between them. (I'll probably only do this if I can handle not vaping a menthol liquid for a day or so beforehand - or atleast a couple hours before - I was a menthol analog smoker for over 14-15 years)

TW menthol has the least flavor of the three. Jane's and Cash's juice are both good and do taste almost the same. Cash's juice has a hint of real menthol and spearmint that I like. Cash's juice also comes in 36mg streingth which gives it an edge over Jane's. For a real kick though you need to buy some menthol crystals from ebay and add it to the juice. Heat about 5ml in the microwave for 10 seconds and add 1 or 2 medium sized crystals. Shake and enjoy.

ATTENTION: Those of you heating plastic anything in the microwave, BE WARNED. That is just plain dangerous. If you must use a microwave safe bowl or something. Unless you know what kind of bottles those are, you should assume it UNSAFE. You could be releasing dangerous toxins right into your e-liquid. Boiling water and then heating the bottle is a much safer bet.

On another note..

I'd like to suggest trying Rocky Mountain Vapor's menthol. I got the 18mg as my first e-liquid and I can honestly say after trying 3 other vendors...nothing even comes close. It was as close to a real menthol cig feeling I could find. The coolness, taste, etc. I found it too overpowering at times even. They finally have it back in stock and I am ordering more today.
