New member, been vaping now about 3 months. Down to a couple of analogs per day (Camel Wide Lights, always been a Camel smoker).

I am a former chemist, the industry moved en masse to China of course :-(, now I do IT. It has never been my true love and calling like chemistry was, and for a long time it was just the necessity of having to bust down a paycheck. But I have gone far enough with it that I am moving more and more into design and architecture, and I am no longer a young man, that burning obsession with career is slowly fading and, wow, now that I can actually nic inside the house, a whole new world has suddenly opened up for me.

So these days, lounging in bed in my PJs surrounded by furrballs, enjoying a book, my glass of cognac, and a good tasting vape seems about as important as anything else in the present day. And while it is not the best thing I've ever had, well, like I said, I am no longer a young man ;-), and right now it feels about as good as I'm likely to get.

Naturally enough given my interests, I went fairly quickly from stock carts to ordering pre-mixes to saying, hey, this should be right up my alley, so I ordered a few tobacco flavors, some EM and EV, etc, and started DIY a few weeks ago. That has quickly spiralled out of control, as I sit here typing I am now surrounded by scores of vials and flavors. Not into fruit or Pina Coladas, and Tobacco is a pretty tough nut to crack! But I am enjoying hammering away at it, and have a couple of mixes that I like enough to puff on while I continue to try to work it all out.

Anyway,

Merry Christmas and Happy vaping to all ECFer's.

Ditto on the Merry Christmas. I started vaping 3 months ago when I finally got sick of paying 10 bucks for a pack of smokes and feeling like crap all the time (on top of how I normally feel. Yay chronic pain!). So far I've only saved $90 over my tobacco habit, but I'm feeling a little better. I'm also on the Weight Watchers, and the dessert/candy flavors are really helping. Instead of snacking, I just throw some swedish fish or yellow cake into a tank and vape away. I haven't gained the usual 10 pounds that generally comes with quitting, but I'm still vaping with nicotine, so that's probably why.

It blows my mind that I smoked pretty much the same flavor for 13 years, when I could be vaping all the delicious flavors that I've found so far. I love it.

Stay safe!
